I particularly like the curries when they are on offer. Plenty of competition but DR is one of the best.

Delicious food, often at a reasonable price. I have always found them reliable, and recommend them.

First time ordering from Donald Russell and first impressions are very good ordered two Chateaubriands on special offer and large beef rump joint good price as I got first order discount and free delivery.Arrived promptly and well packed only had one Chateaubriand so far but quality and flavour was very good. Size for two was plenty and gave us left overs for a very tasty indulgent steak baguette next day. Not sure why people say it’s frozen meat? it clearly states this on the web page bit naive I thinks as lots of things are frozen nowadays and in many case can be better than fresh.

Customer services were quick to deal with a problem with my order.

I have no negative remarks to say about Donald Russell. Every order is perfect. Their meat is always so tender and delicious. Ordering on line is easy and the staff are all so well informed and helpful.

I use Donald Russell quite regularly, especially their promotions and on special occasions. I have never experienced as problem with delivery dates, although have had a couple of times when DHL haven’t knocked the door on delivery. Have always been pleased with purchases. We especially like the beef stir fry and steak and ale pies.

The beef from DR is always delicious and when there’s an offer like the one that’s been delivered it’s difficult to ignore. The Alpine Fries are excellent as well.

Surprised by the number of negative reviews when I logged on. I've been a customer, now, for a number of years and I have no reason to complain. Expensive but competitive in todays market for a top quality product. The one time I had a 'dispute' I was listened to by the customer services and the matter was resolved politely and friendly. They deserve their 5* rating.Keep it up!!!

I have made several purchases from Donald Russell over the last few years. The quality is fantastic and always delivered on the day promised. The BBQ bundles are very good quality and value.

Can always depend upon them for top quality products and first class service

I've been using Donald Russell for many years now, and apart from last Christmas, when my order was stolen by the delivery company's driver, they have always been excellent, and in this case my missing order was replaced immediately by their great customer service. All the products I have tried have been of high quality, if a little on the expensive side, but, as others have remarked, "you get what you pay for". Among my particular favourites are their steak and stilton, and steak and ale pies. I'm always on the lookout for offers on these.

We've had Chateaubriand from Donald Russell before and it's always good quality, as it was this time, but it wasn't great like we've been used to in the past. Donald Russell has always been very good quality, but it's become restrictively expensive so we only buy from them now when there are special offers, otherwise the 'value for money' isn't there.

You cannot beat Donald Russell for price and quality. I have just ordered Christmas Dinner for the third year in a row! Pheasant highly recommended if you’re looking for something a tad different.

I have shopped with DR for some 5/6 years and have enjoyed every product bought. Best buys for me….fillet mignons, centre cut fillet steaks, chicken tikka, lasagne.

As ever, excellent flavourful beef products - typically expensive, but well worth it. (Always take advantage of the many offers.) Never any problems with safe, prompt delivery. A pity that the expanded polystyrene boxes cannot be recycled, but hope DR will be able to take advantage of possible future compostable materials
