Donald Russell

I don't normally do reviews, but since I have been asked to share on trustpilot I will. The point is Donald Russell can't be trusted. Earlier this year I received an order with an item missing. I reported this and was told that a replacement would be added to my account for delivery in my next order. In a subsequent phone call I was told this would stay on my account for a year. As I had not ordered for a while, and was about to place my Christmas order I emailed them for assurance that the item would be added. I received an auto-response and ticket number but have never received a response. So I sent another email, and got an auto-response ticket, but no reply. I actually placed another order to be delivered before my Christmas order and the item was not there. So I emailed them, and again received an auto-response. I have never had a response to this either. I have told them that they would have trouble reaching me on the phone and to be sure to email. But in any case I have had no missing calls. Ringing them means a long wait and call charge for me. My Christmas order has just been delivered(well within the year) and still no missing item. I have now given up in disgust and will never order again. BE WARNED

Delivery issues, full refund given, still out of pocket as had to rush out and buy replacements 2 days before Xmas.

Have been using Donald Russell for a few years now. One of the good things to come out of Covid Lockdowns! We have tried a large selection of the products which gave all been of the best standard. Xmas dinner will be Donald Russell based!

Xmas treats - mainly bits for both Xmas and Boxing day meals - have been very impressed by the quality of all items - the adage is true, you DO get what you pay for so imagine going to Waitrose rather than Budgens! Super fast delivery, clear instructions on all food items and loved the mince pies that I received in my last order - shortbread crust - yummy!! Will recommend to all and sundry and will continue to use and feast - more of a special occasion rather than a regular one!

I have never regretted a purchase from this company, my standout products are their Ribeye and fillet steak, that said I have tried many items from meatballs,chops, steak mince and my secret addiction square sausage and everything has been top quality.The delivery service is excellent letting you choose your preferred delivery day.
