Beef wellington arrived on time and well wrapped. It looked lovely. Full defrost and cooking instructions were included. Meat was absolutely beautiful and sliced with perfection and ease. Would definitely recommend and would buy again.
I bought the bronzed turkey crown and fillet roast. Everything arrived in perfect condition and on time. The turkey was delicious, I read the instructions and the pop up thermometer that was in the turkey worked a treat. The fillet was amazing everyone loved it
First time I have used this supplier. The beef wellington was absolutely fabulous, super tender beef..I hope the other meats I bought will be as great, they sure look it.
I purchased the " Mini Roast Selection" because I am on my own, I cooked the Beef on very low heat on Christmas Day, expecting it to be delicious, it was so tough the electric knife would not cut it. I ordered 4 lots of Orders from September to December 2023, the last Order I received the top layer was de frosting, contacted Company and after a couple of e mails they said they would replace what had de frosted on my next order. I will not be ordering from Donald Russel again, very disapointed.

I had the pack of 2 x stuffed turkey rolls wrapped in bacon. It was truly awful, even though I followed the instructions carefully. The turkey was tough, and could have been practically any meat as it was so tasteless. The stuffing was overpowering, but difficult to discern any of the lovely ingredients that were meant to be in there. And although garlic appeared low down in the list of ingredients, when I opened the fridge the following day, despite the leftovers having been well wrapped, the smell of garlic was overpowering ! I hate waste, but had to throw a whole roll and a bit of the other away. Living on my own I was so pleased to find something festive for just me, but was so disappointed - I won't be buying this item again.
Generally very good quality food . Well packaged and reliable delivery service. I had an issue with one item from my order however dealt with quickly and efficiently by Customer Services.

Big shout out to Donald Russell for my Chateau branded which I turned into beef wellington for Christmas dinner. Best Christmas Dinner meat we have ever had.was like eating soft butter 10**
We tried Donald Russell after a friend recommended them. The Beef Serloin joint we had on Christmas day was first class. It was enough for boxing day dinner and sandwiches on the 27th. The stuffing parcels with cranberry and apricot wrapped in bacon were also amazing. We will definitely be placing future orders.

Firstly my name is not Jill I asked u to send a brochure to my Aunt called Jill now I seem to be Jill which I'm not...the food isn't that wonderful tbh I found it disappointing ...the containers are cheap and brittle and got damaged in transit rendering damaged items unusable... the pies have no meat in them the pastry is awful....way too expensive an experiment for me. Why date my existence it can be any day of many! Stupid question.
I opted for the Christmas meal for two which has fed three people very well. All the food is delicious and there are very generous proportions. I will definitely be buying this again for next year
