Ordered the Beef Christmas Box for family who couldn't join us for Christmas lunch. They were hugely complimentary about the quality, the excellent presentation on delivery and thoroughly enjoyed each and every bite. Will definitely be ordering meat to try myself on the back of this.
We decided to try something different for Xmas so ordered individual Beef Wellingtons. Both were cooked at the same time but one leaked a lot of fluid onto the baking tray, the other was fine. The result was the one that leaked was dry to eat. The good one was excellent but the other wasn't.
We ordered the selection box and was able to try different meats. They were all delicious 😋 and have been very impressed with the texture and quality. Will definitely be ordering from you again. Speedy delivery at a time that suited us too. Thank you 😊

Normally they are ok but stay away from pork ribs no meat and tough. Waitrose ribs are awesome compared.

The rump roast was tender and tasty. Their meat is the best I've ever had. It obviously costs more , but it's worth it.
I ordered several items to fit in with our Christmas plans, all were good. We particularly liked the partridges. I originally bought one but realised on arrival that it would not be good for two adult helpings. They cooked well on a bed of chopped bacon and onion fried first in butter. The recipe came from the internet.
Your meat is always very good, worth paying the money for a decent roasting joint, steaks and good braising steak. We had the beef wellington meal for 2 recently, it was very good but we felt there was not enough dauphinoise potato and there were too many peas in the green vegetables mix. Would have the beef wellingtons again.

This is the first time that I have ordered from Donald Russell and I will definitely be ordering again. Everything has tasted fantastic, really good quality. The beef wellington was absolutely amazing. Also had the Turkey parcels, and they were great and I didn’t have zillions of leftovers, along with the pigs in blankets all totally amazing.
