The meat is very good and packed in dry ice. Unfortunately DHL these days have started leaving the box outside the door into the alleyway where anybody could pick it up and carry it away. They send an e-mail with a photograph of where they've put it but it would be more helpful if they rang the bell to warn me it's there..

Great products but I stick to a limited range of meats and meals I like. Not tried many of their fish and ready meal recipes. Fillet steaks and Chicken tikka Marsala are two regular items I order…..always superb!

Disappointing sirloin steak. Bought batch of different weight sirloin steak to find them tough, gristly and fatty. Some even lack taste. Have previously been more than happy with their steaks and reluctant to order again.
Ordered my meat and then found that delivery was going to be the following day!! Quicker than going to the supermarket. The quality of the meat is excellent, it's not the cheapest, but the quality is always there. We always enjoy our Donald Russell orders
Absolutely no wastage with Donald Russell products -everything tastes good and is of a very high standard. I wouldn't order my meat or fish from anywhere else.
The meat and fish is always good quality. Delivered on time. Any packaging works well, tho we prefer cardboard as it’s more eco friendly Yes, too many emails theses days!
The meals are all quality ingredients, good portions and tasty. The lasgna's are especially good and I keep these in the freezer for lazy days or last minute emergencies (or just for a treat) to have with a lovely fresh salad. Also very impressed with the Kofta's. Packaging is very good and the delivery first rate.
The quality of the food is exceptional every time I order. The reliability is very good with the ability to have delivery when you want it. The one gripe I would have is their persistance to package most items in pairs or greater. As a single person it is very frustrating to have to defrost two items when you only want to cook one.
Always excellent quality products with prompt and trackable delivery. However daily (or more frequent) marketing e-mails can get a little wearing. I do not wish to unsubscribe as we only order when offers arise given quality products necessitate prices to match.
Excellent choice of meat and fish delivered on time and top quality. Prepared veg and meals are a tad on the expensive side but very tasty. I tend to buy items that are on offer. Would recommend.
First time I have used Donald Russell, must say I wasn't disappointed! Website was easy to navigate, delivery bang on time and everything was packed perfectly and the quality of the meat is fabulous. I have forwarded an email to one of my friends who has also just placed an order. I'll definitely be ordering again.
