HAVING USED THEM FOR YEARS, THEIR QUALITY IS SUPERB, AND DELIVERY TIMELY. ONLY ONE TIME, YEARS AGO, WERE WE DISSATISFIED WITH THE CUT OF SOME MEAT ORDERED, (our ignorance) AND THEIR RESPONSE WAS FULL AND GENEROUS. WE HAVE EXPLORED THEIR RANGE OF GOODS, INCLUDING MEAT AND FISH, PLUS SOME DESSERT AND SEASONAL ITEMS, AND ALL ARE FRESH AND IN PEAK CONDITION. UNTIL RECENTLY, THEY CARRIED THE ROYAL WARRANT, AND WE ALWAYS CONSIDERED THAT WELL DESERVED.
Good quality food even if some things are a bit pricey. Delivery charge sometimes a problem so tend to order more than necessary to bring it to minimum value for free delivery. Easy to order and can normally have it delivered within a few days of ordering and on a day of my choice. The only negative comment is that the delivery company used are not doing their job as for the last 2 orders they haven't rung the bell or knocked and left the parcel at the back of the house and no card saying it's there and this last time it was left in the full sun until we realized it was there even though there was someone in the house when it was delivered
Excellent quality - very good offers. The steaks are the best so juicy and tender. Can be expensive - you have to shop the offers. We have been totally satisfied with everything we have bought - would highly recommend.

Amazing meat and dishes. We love the fillet burgers, and battered fish. Everything we have ordered has been really good quality. I love looking at the special offers and then ordering a big batch for the month, it all gets delivered frozen, plus delivery is free for orders over £50.00. We buy very little meat from the supermarkets now. No more waste, as we take it out of the freezer the day before we need it. No more looking at a date in the fridge and realising it's gone past the use-by date.
Excellent produce a bit expensive but good quality beef the steak could be slightly bigger but all in all great quality meat and the ready meals are delicious
The DR products are good quality, but also sold at a higher price. Locally sourced meats are usually 40% - 50% cheaper for the same quality.
I ordered from Donald Russell after my daughter recommended them to me. I’m so glad I tried them, the quality of the products are top class. I have bought both raw meat products and ready prepared chef’s meals and have only good things to say. I thought the price might be inhibiting for me as a pensioner, but taking into account quality, convenience and enjoyment of the food, the price is not a problem. You get what you pay for, top quality product at a reasonable price.

DR has never let me down either in delivery or quality of their products. Being a single man, I appreciate my orders will not be that frequent, maybe once a month but being able to get quality frozen meats is a real plus for me. Keep up the great work and ethics.

Outstanding butcher & customer service
Steak always excellent and love their ready meals especially the lasagne which if you add extra veg feeds two. Found the dauphinois needs to thawed before cooking as from frozen the potatoes are still hard.
