I placed my order with them at the…

I placed my order with them at the April 6th, they took my credit card information and sent me an email with confirmation. Two days later I got an email that they do not take cards payments for large amounts and I would have to send a check so I did that day. After 2 more weeks my check had not been cashed so I called 4 times before someone could tell me anythings. Finally my check clears order placed. Two days later I get a call, sorry part of your items are no longer available. So I picked replacement items and all should be good right? Wrong!!!! I get another call, sorry the replacement items are damaged we can not sell it to you. Okay cool, so again I order replacement items. All should be good now right, Wrong again!!! It is now May 4th not one will return my calls or emails and I have no idea when my items will ship! This is for my business that opens in 3 weeks!!! I have called everyday for weeks and get a recording. I wait on hold for hours to get moved from 5th in line to 1st, back to 2nd, back to 8th over and over! Never get to talk to anyone! I leave a message, nothing. I email, nothing!!!

It took them to 3 days to tell me that the item is out of stock, yet when I went to their web site, they would still take orders saying that it is in stock. Well, it was priced low, but it is a "high price" to pay when they don't deliver the item or waste my time. I will have to make sure that I get a refund.

I gave them a star because I couldn't share my bad experience and warn others without giving them atleast a star. I ordered a pantry to help store our nonperishables. After nearly a week with no communication or email confirming my purchase. I finally received an email asking for me to email them back and grant them permission to charge an additional fee against my account to verify it was my checking account. I repeatedly attempted to contact them by phone to speak with someone about the matter. I repeatedly after pressing the correct number, after being told I was in the que to speak to a rep, was sent to voicemail. I finally hit a point of aggravation with them to send an email requesting to refund and cancel the purchase. If they screw me out of that, expect another review. In the future, I would rather store my groceries on the countertop before giving them any of my money.

DCG dishonest and illegal activity.

I've had an unbelievable problem with this vendor. I canceled an order made with them in error within 18 minutes of the order placement. I have written confirmation that my order was canceled and my card will not be charged. 10 days later my card is charged and the order appears on my front step. They acknowledged that their employee Ashley made an error and forgot to cancel the order. Not only did they want me to manage the process to return the item, but they refused to credit my account until the item is received. Even though they acknowledge that they know I did not order the item and it was their error! They sent me a product that I did not have an order for and illegally charged my credit card. I tried to talk with them on several occasions to get this resolved and they would just hang up on me. The item was returned yesterday, and still no credit. I'm having to dispute the charge with my bank.

Brutal

Brutal. If I could give negative stars I would. Their return policy is insane. We ordered two snack tables that arrived fine, but were not made properly (required assembly and holes were completely misaligned). We immediately repacked them and reached out to DCG. They agreed to accept them back (how big of them!), but required us to pay return shipping cost of about $75. But here’s the real kicker: they refunded only 50 percent of the cost of the tables because they retroactively charged us for the original free shipping. Buyer beware when doing business with this awful company.

84% bad reviews for a reason, horrible company

DCG has 84% bad reviews for a reason, company will not stand by their product. I ordered a futon and was told the cover comes off the mattress to wash. When I tried to take the cover off the mattress was in pieces. The cover was sewn onto the mattress. I called before ordering and was told the cover comes off to wash. After calling for two days to get a hold of someone they told me it was my fault for not understanding how the cover works. Horrible company no wonder they have such bad reviews. Wish I read them before wasting my money. Don't waste your money with this compay.

Horrible horrible horrible!

Horrible horrible horrible! I will never ever purchase anything from this business ever again! They advertise 5 year warranties, FALSE! This place is a business that’s looking to make their money off of you and when there is a problem leave you ! I am Highly disappointed In the customer service and plan to file a complaint everywhere and anywhere to make up for the loss I have !

great futon cover

My daughter wanted a zebra print cover for the futon in her room. These are not easy to find. I was hesitant to buy it from DCG because of the bad ratings. Instead we were happily surprised by the quick delivery, great quality of the fabric, how easily fit on the mattress, and the fun print!

This company is the worst to deal with …

This company is the worst to deal with They sent me a stripe bench cushion instead of the solid one that I bought This company made a mistake When I tired to explain and they seemed very confused Then we went back and forth for 9 emails and also being quite rude I will never do business with them again I guess that I should of read the reviews first before my purchase I’ll never will do that again I didn’t deserve the rudeness that I got For everyone out there stay totally away from this company (Again bad news )

I was trying to order a futon set and…

I was trying to order a futon set and called customer service to get a question answered.....always placed in a call loop that keeps telling you to press 1.....after leaving a message and an email....5 days later, still nothing.....which I guess is good....made me look them up and read reviews....I think I will order somewhere else.....If I cant get customer service on the front side....I cant imagine I would get it on the back!!!!!

The futon frame and mattress was received in good order.

The futon frame and mattress were received as ordered. I saw all of the negative reviews here after I placed my order and was initially concerned when I received the frame without the mattress. I contacted DCG by replying to their confirmation email and they promptly provided the following response: "The mattress is shipped separately as they are made to order. We did request an update on the status of your order. We do apologize you have not received it yet. There has been a bit of a backup in our warehouse due to the high numbers of orders we have received. As soon as we have tracking/shipping information it will be forwarded via email." I received the mattress 5 days later and put the futon together with no issues. It looks and feels great. I realize that many people have had a negative experience, but since most people only write reviews when something bad happens, I thought I should share my positive experience with this purchase.

I should have read the reviews

I should have read the reviews. SHipped frame for a high end futon bed....no mattress...got the runaround from customer service...NO help whatsoever. and I have to wait several weeks MORE to see IF the mattress arrives. Meanwhile they have charged my account for the entire amount. What a scam!! Never do business with DCG...NEVER! always will read reviews...86% BAD !! wow.

I should have read the reviews before I purchased

I should have read the reviews before I ordered from them. They do not disclose their return policy in full when you discuss a return with them, not is there any "free" shipping. It is added on to the price of the item so beware if you return something to them. The quality wasn't as good in person as shown on the website either.

Never Again

So I bought this South Shore Spark bed from DCG stores online. Should have checked their reviews 1st, but I bought the bed & matching headboard here because it was $40 cheaper than anywhere else. Well trying to save $40 cost me $110. When the bed arrived, the boards were broken & the wood was chipped. I never even open the box to the headboard. I called customer service & they told me I had to respond to the confirmation email to talk to customer service. That was the only way they would correspond with me. They had me send pics, etc. Then they had to send it to upper management. They decided to refund me for the bed with no return necessary. They could clearly see in the pics that it was junk. But I had to follow all these instructions for returning the headboard & only had 10 days to do it. So I drive 45 min to the nearest UPS store only to find out that it will cost me $118 to ship it back. The difference between what I paid & what they reimbursed me was $110. When I emailed them about it, they said they were sorry, but that's their policy. I emailed back & said that's why out of 38 people, they only got 1 star. Told them I'd be #39. Wish I'd have read these reviews b4 purchasing from them. Won't happen again!!! Trust me, pay the extra $ elsewhere!!!

Should have come here before…

Should have come here before ordering... My bad. Ordered a cabinet 6 weeks ago. No further contract from DCG stores. Tried to call them today and got into a voice mail loop where it keeps saying press 1 to speak to someone and when you press 1 the loop starts again. Wish I had done my homework.

Wow my bad for not reading how bad this…

Wow my bad for not reading how bad this company sucks before purchasing a "Weatherproof Outdoor Futon Cover" that is NOT weatherproof! i'm going to add to the very long list of complaints and bad reviews.I did not see ONE good one. They put out crap then charge too much money for it and do not back it up when there is a problem. I bought a weather proof outdoor futon cover that in 6 months of Seattle living (not Arizona sun) was faded AND it was partially covered when not in use. Then I left it out of the rain over the winter and it was soaking wet and the mattress underneath molded. Didn't see ANY different than an indoor futon cover and paid > $100. Also was delivered WAY later than promised. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! AWFUL!!

This is not a good store to buy from.

This is not a good store to buy from. Here is my experience. I ordered an item (cover for a futon) and it did not work for me, so I had to pay shipping myself to ship back. When it arrived back at their store, they did not immediately credit it until about a month later when I called them as asked them for the credit. Then, when the credit was made they did not give me back my full amount, but deducted the original shipping that it had cost them. So, in total I am out approx $30.00 with no product. Never order from this company. I certainly will not!
