Do not buy from them.

I ordered an Office Table from DCG, but somehow I bumped to this webpage and read through the reviews and decided I do not want to deal with DCG. I found the same product at Home Depot for $10 more and tried to cancel my order almost right away. Well not much luck. There is no set up for canceling order. So you need to call them in order to cancel it. When I called they have a voice answering informing people that their phone services are shut down due to COVID. Then I sent them an e-mail with a request to cancel my order. I did not receive any correspondence back from DCG. After I got my product from Home Depot suddenly 3 days later I got FedEx notification and they brought me the same product that I canceled from DCG. So I have 1 extra table that I do not need and I am dealing with my Credit Card company disputing this order.

Please don't purchase from this company

As so many others have stated, I wish I had read the reviews before I made a purchase. I ordered a bedroom dresser and was contacted by the local delivery service stating that it was my responsibility to remove the 250 lb skid from the back of the truck. Their free shipping is not free and their white glove service is apparently actually taking your item off the truck when it arrives. They in no way make this clear during checkout. It is also never mentioned when you get your confirmation email, nor your tracking information. You literally find out when the shipping company contacts you to deliver. I have ordered many oversized items before and never once has it been my responsibility to remove an item from a truck. For every other legitimate retailer I have ever purchased from, delivery means they actually deliver it. White glove service means they carry it into your house and sometimes even unpackage and assemble it. This company operates very differently, which would have been fine, if I had been made aware of this at the time of purchase. They also do not respond to emails nor answer their phone, as many others have already stated. Apparently their way of dealing with an unhappy customer is just to ignore them completely. The shipping company has also been trying to contact them and is not getting a response either. Anyway, hopefully I can save someone who is smart enough to read the reviews before making a purchase some trouble. I would seriously recommend taking your business elsewhere. I will never purchase from DCG again and I may even file a formal complaint with the BBB.

Take your business elsewhere

Take your business elsewhere. Their return policy sucks! If you return an item, they will charge you for the shipping cost even if shipping to your address is free!! Then they will also deduct the return shipping cost from your refund and some silly re-stocking fee. I want to return the item because it was much cheaper to purchase it in Walmart for the same exact merchandise. Most importantly, they said that shipping and TAX were all included in the price. No siree! They charged me the tax which really made the item much more than what I should have paid in another store. When I emailed them, the pathetic customer service rep. told me that I had to pay the tax since I live in Califonia. Then, why did they not mention that in the first place? Don't buy anything from this store. They will rip you off. They are scammers! I should have read the reviews beforehand prior to this first and definitely the last purchase. I partly blame myself for not doing a research on their company first.

Terrible Customer Service

I ordered a futon cover, based on measurements indicated on the DCG order website. I received a cover that measured much smaller. In order to get a refund on the item, DCG Stores now wants me to pay for the outgoing (free) shipping, return shipping, and restocking fees for a mistake that they made. They misrepresented the size of the item on their order page or sent the wrong item. This is not my fault, but theirs. I have sent over 15 emails with images showing the discrepancy over the past 6 months trying to resolve this situation. They no longer respond to phone calls, emails, or registered letters. The customer should not have to pay for a mistake that the seller made.

DCG stores are a rip off! con-artist, liars, scam business- no customer service phone!!

I bought a 10" mattress and an expensive cover to fit and they shipped me an 8" mattress and 8" cover and told me it would fit the mattress - because they sent me the shorter mattress even though I paid for the bigger one. They tried to tell me they shipped the right sizes yest the measurements prove that to be wrong...plus the label says 8"! on top of that, they refused to make this right- even though i paid the surcharge for the bigger sizes! Now they are refusing to cancel the frame even though it isn't even in stock yet. I want to cancel because they are trying to rip me off and I don't trust them...they are scammers!

I wish I had taken the time to read the reviews before ordering a sofa table. My order was never sent. I had to contact the Better Business Bureau of which DCG has yet to contact them concerning my purchase. The reviews are very much true...do not under any circumstance purchase from this company

Very shady - take your business elsewhere.

Beyond bad. The product arrived damaged and it took weeks for them to write me back. They did not make the situation right - they asked me to keep the damaged product. No accountability. They do not answer their phone and barely respond to emails. I agree 100% with other reviewers that something is just not quite right with this company. I would never ever trust them with my personal information again. This company is shady. Take your business elsewhere: legitimate companies stand behind their products.

The WORST customer service ever!

Unbelievable. How do you not answer your phone due to Covid? This makes no sense. We have a family small business that has been hit much harder during COVID and we have diligently answered our phone and emails. This is an excuse. They sent the wrong type of table and I have emailed several times to figure out what to do and NOTHING. I am going to be disputing the charges and donating the table. I have never had such an awful experience with a company.

Something not right with the company!

I ordered a futon from this company about 2-3 weeks ago. I contacted them two weeks later wanting to know when I could expect to receive my product. They told me my order needed to be authenticated. When I asked what that was supposed to mean they said they would charge a small amount to my card and I needed to approve it which I have NEVER heard of. I tried calling and there is no customer service supposedly due to COVID. I could not get my questions answered. Something is not right with this company. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. I ended up cancelling mine.

'Criminal' claim that they can't answer…

'Criminal' claim that they can't answer the phone due to covid... Hey DCG, all the legitimate companies figured out a way! Email is the same, a generic reply promising to answer your email but that never happens. I returned the product at a crazy shipping cost and have to work with my credit card company to get my money back.

We had a good experience

We ordered a beautiful king bed at DCG Stores. It looked exactly as advertised and we love it. The footboard was damaged on one side though. Reading all the negative reviews, we got very worried that the company would not rectify the problem. However, there was no reason to worry, the team was responsive and eventually sent a new footboard. We would oder with DCG Stores again.

Not even one star

Not even one star. This places SUCKS! They stole my money and they get away with it by leaving some stupid telephone message saying they can't talk to you because of Covid. But many other companies in the USA are operating just find from alternate locations due to covid. Now I'm stuck with a futon mattress that I paid $278 for and they won't even send a shipping label for you to ship it back or even allow you to pay the same freight charge they paid to send it. I don't mind paying to return the item, but the quotes I have for shipping a mattress from Nashville, TN to California by Fed Ex is $613 and by USP- $470. Are you kidding me? Pay almost twice as much to ship back the item that didn't fit (a screw-up on their part), and still pay twice as much as the item is worth to send it back for a refund that will never happen. All I can say at this point is: If you are a lawyer please contact me so all of the hundreds of people who have purchased items from these criminals and gotten ripped off can together shut down this illegal alien operated business, purposely ripping off hard-working Americans who just want something to sit down on after working hard all day.

I have waited for 6 weeks for a futon…

I have waited for 6 weeks for a futon frame I ordered. Nobody got back to me. I emailed a bunch of times. They finally got back and said it was going to be even later, no idea when. I don't know why they are in business.

Bad customer service

I ordered a futon frame and got an email with order details. No information about shipping, but I figured I'd get that in a few days. I heard nothing more from them and emailed them 3 times over the next 3 weeks and finally got a reply that my order had been cancelled 2 days after I ordered the futon because they could not ship to California "at this time". (I find this particularly odd, since the business address is in California.) I did not receive a cancellation notification and was not reimbursed. I'm now having to pursue getting my refund. I understand things are difficult because of Covid, but that's no excuse for 3 weeks of no communication.

Not a one star even. Similar to story to above reviews. Can't reach then because of COVID and they make it hard to reach them. Send emails and call your credit card company and let them know. It's not ethical and misleading.

I cannot get a hold of them

I cannot get a hold of them through customer service line due to COVID-19, so I tried emailing them numerous times on when my product will be shipped. I am getting no response. I order my product over a week ago, and the charge is still in pending status in bank account. I guess some people don't care about being unemployed during this time.

Better Business Bureau

We ordered a table on August, 08, 2020. Of course, DOG Stores don't answer their phone and their email exchange doesn't provide any helpful information as to when we can expect the table to be shipped to us. Better Business Bureau, how can you let DCG Stores get away without providing good customer communication???

Surprise! Your item you paid for is not actually in stock and has to be built in Indonesia!

Ordered a futon and frame that were both in stock for around $800 online. The next day I had an email that the frame was going to be delayed... By 2 months. I only bought the set I did because it was listed as in stock... To top it all off the card I used for this purchase (the only online purchase in months) AND MY CARD INFO GETS STOLEN AND USED ONLINE RIGHT AFTER MY PURCHASE. 100% DO NOT USE DCG STORES. Ive done wood finishing professionally and could tell that the build quality was poor for a near $400 dollar frame.. One side of a board was sealed and sanded but not sprayed, bad sanding with lots of ruff cut saw marks on them still and the glue job.... Clearly 2 parts were not clamped on the frame properly or at all and one side had glue smeared into the 2/16" gap ON TOP OF THE FINISH. Glue will not adhere to finish it needs to be on bare wood...... $150 bucks is all that level of cheap quality work is really worth. Id have been fired if I ever put something with that many mistakes into the showroom. Wolf brand makes a very nice futon matress. But the Nirvana arden frame convinced me not to buy the rest of the furniture for my movie room and dinning room table set from dcg. Lost a bunch of future sales and I'll make sure to spread my review around for as many people to see. Updating your listed inventory is kinda business 101 for online stores and DCG dropped the ball big time. Avoid getting ripped off.
