If we could give zero stars we would. Sure wish we had seen this site prior to buying a futon and frame. Total junk. The mattress is a lumpy, wrinkled mess and it is impossible to sit on it with any level of comfort. Our complaints are met with "just massage the mattress into shape". That does not solve the problem. Please do not patronize them. We now have to make a dump run with this crappy mattress.

I purchased a futon mattress, it came and in less then 60 days the entire seam opened, DCG doesn't back there products and want me to pay shipping on the new one! That's not acceptable to me! I've email them multiple times and they still do not respond

Don't buy from here. Small time scam. I ordered a lamp, I did not receive the lamp in the picture, and they told me it was the manufacturer's fault for providing a different picture.

In May I purchased a leather recliner and Queen Futon with mattress and drawers beneath the wooden frame. After I purchased my items I was worried due to their reviews, however, I was more than pleased! Alanna, in Customer Service was very prompt in addressing my concerns and was very understanding and kind! I LOVE both of my purchases!

I ordered my futon cover, and I had received no delivery date. I looked into the reviews after I placed my order, which mostly said they were a bad company to deal with, I became concerned. We called the company and it was a recording. We sent multiple emails. Finally we got a shipping confirmation, and the futon cover arrived a few weeks after placing our order. I am happy with the cover. So they are not bad, they just need to communicate better. Customer service needs improvement, but the product is very nice.

This store is such a farce. They pull the bait and switch pitch on you. They had the same product listed as an individual piece without a mattress and as a set which included the mattress. Naturally with different prices. So I ordered the set bc it would be useless without the mattress to me. So I ordered the set and never received a confirmation on the order. Three weeks later I get notice that the order is being shipped and could or could not be the complete order. So I received my order that I thought was a partial order. It included drawers that I did not order and a mattress never came. So a couple of days later I emailed them about the order. I get an answer later that day that said I ordered the unit without the mattress and included a link to mattresses for $300. I replied that I didn’t and clearly there was a mistake and ask how we could get this resolved and I was willing to keep the drawers but I needed the mattress. Again they emailed me a link to mattresses. I replied it would be a cold day in hell when I would order from them again. They also own Futon Creations. Buyers beware!!

Communication was poor and I had no idea when my futon was coming, but when it did in about three weeks, I found it to be the best bed ever. I cannot get my body off this futon. I got the thickest memory foam one with the Cancun sapphire fabric. Sooooo comfy.

I gave 1 star but honestly they do not deserve that! I have tried placing 5 orders with the company (nothing special, just a twin black faux leather headboard) all 5 times the items showed in stock on their website. On one of the orders I sent a email before making the purchase asking if they were sure it was in stock. They replied via email (cause you CAN NOT talk to a live person) and said the item WAS in stock. I made the purchase only to be let down with a follow up email that yet again the item ordered was NOT in stock. Buy at your own risk, but honestly I would shop elsewhere!

Incredibly frustrating shopping experience. I ended up cancelling my order as the "customer service" would not run my debit card citing fraud prevention even after I corrected my billing address. Support is only provided via email. A real human cannot be contacted via phone. Lazy and frustrating. Try Wayfair or Overstock or Amazon or a garage sale first.

I got a new card number, so the charge didn't go through. They threatened to take me to collections in an email, but the number they provided for me to call and give them the new number.... so easy to do, was out of service. They never owned it and offered the laziest, most unprofessional service I can recall in recent memory. I have never dealt with a retail company this unprofessional. Don't EVER use them. They are a company that truly deserves to go out of business.

I ordered before reading reviews and was terrified after I read them. But I got my futon within a week and mattress by two weeks and I love them. I emailed that the boxes were completely damaged from FEDEX but the product was great after making sure pieces were all there. Which I was given an email response back after like 5 days... I do recommend honestly it's not that bad.

This company is a scam. I can't even sit on the futon I purchased from them due to excruciating back pain this sofa causes me. The mattress is a lopsided piece of crap. It's almost like the cover is glued to the mattress. You certainly can never change the cover on this futon. They blame the COVID virus for not answering their phone. You can't catch this virus over the telephone. Many thousands of companies had and still have people working out of their homes to take care of their customers. Not DCG stores. They are a scam company. I hope this review will save people from wasting their hard earned money with DCG stores.

I sure wish I had read the reviews before ordering my desk from DCG. I ordered a desk with keyboard tray from the company in January. They said it wouldn't be available until March and I was OK with waiting. When it was finally delivered, however, it was the wrong desk as it had a drawer in the place of the keyboard tray I need, although their own confirmation email said "3-Drawer Computer Desk - Keyboard Tray." I have reached out three times so far and all I get is silence. All I want is for them to send me a tray to replace the drawer so I can use the desk. Meanwhile it is sitting in my entryway taking up a lot of space and of no use to me. How can a company get away with doing this on such a large scale? I tend to agree with the other reviews that it has to be deliberate.

Avoid at all costs. DCG Stores is a Scam Order placed in Nov. 2020. Delivery dates pass. No phone # for customer service, email only. From 4 emails sent, 1 has been responded to in March 2021. That email stated the item was on backorder and would be sent March 12. Now March 27th and no item has been sent and no follow up responded to or initiated by the company. These scammers need to be closed down.

Please avoid doing any business with the DCG stores also known as Futon creations . Their customer service is nonexistent. You cannot speak with anyone. Simple avoid them do business with many other good businesses out there.

I'd echo many of the comments here. I ordered a futon mattress with my CC, and weeks later FedEx has no expected delivery date, and numerous emails have gone unanswered. The website stated the item was IN STOCK and normally ships in 2-3 business days. Well, I guess NOT!

I ordered a Futon Mattress - Never got a confirmation email nor was my account charged. Then I get an alert from Fedex that I have a delivery coming - Yep my futon mattress and my bank was charged. Everything looked great - then I get another alert from Fedex - Yep A second futon mattress - and my bank was charged again. Of course as noted below you cannot call due to COVID - sent numerous emails. They say they will send an RA number but it has been a week and nothing ! I am very frustrated. I want my money back - the second mattress is taking up space in my entry way - very heavy and I am a 65 Yr Old female. I can only push it around. I am happy with the first one, but definitely don't need 2. I guess I will see if I can sell it at a small loss since it is new and still in the original box. DO NOT ORDER FROM These people

I ordered a simple mattress with my credit card and they never delivered it and will not return my numerous emails. The company flat out stole my money. Like other posts have indicated - there is no phone support services due to COVID. This is hard to believe a multi million business don’t have people working from home for customer support. I am beginning to think this company is a fraud and someone is working our of their basement only selling items they can easily find and resale. That’s why they have so many complaints. Do not buy from this company!!!!
