I was trying to find a property for my first rental, and moving as far as from the north west to the south coast my experience with Charters, in particular estate agent Lily, made this stress free and easy. I was able to find my perfect first home, highly recommend Charters if you’re looking for a property to rent or buy!!
Was super anxious going into this process, but Holly has been wonderful! She’s attentive and knowledgeable, and has been there for every question I’ve had responding personally and quickly.
We received excellent, attentive and friendly service from the Gosport branch - and good recommendations for possible properties. We were shown around several properties by Maya Jorgensen, who was friendly and kind as well as professional!
It was a pleasure to have Maya helping us with our search for a new home. She was always helpful and engaging, nothing was too much trouble.

My flatmate and I have had a great experience with Charters. Sarah Bainbridge responded to our emails very promptly, arranged a couple viewings very quickly and helped us find a lovely flat to rent. Overall, Sarah and Charters have been very helpful and professional.

She was always at the end of the phone/an email if we had any questions, and she always responded promptly and with helpful answers. My landlord is selling the flat but Sam at Charters is keeping me informed of what's going on, what could happen re giving notice etc and generally has just been easy and friendly to contact. Charters overall are actually the best agents I've had in over a decade of renting

Sarah Bainbridge of Charters Estate Agents was a lifesaver! As a foreign academic researcher who needed to live in England for the school year, it was proving quite difficult to find housing and a landlord who would accept a 10 month lease, if possible. Most wanted all of the 10 months of rent up front, or 12 months of rent and no exceptions. Sarah communicated frequently with me, and when she heard about a situation that could meet my needs, she reached out and made it happen. Most other letting agencies just said, "good luck; the market is tough." Her staff have continued to help me jump through the many hoops to satisfy government requirements, share codes, and the like, and they did not insist on all 10 months of rent up front. Thank you Sarah and Charters!

Charters have been amazing so far. Lily managed to fit me in at short notice to go and view a property in which we ended up putting an application in for. The whole process has been seamless with regular phone calls from Charters keeping us informed about everything.
