Quick response time and dealing with…

Quick response time and dealing with Wyatt has been smooth. Even when he is on holiday, other team members (Grahame) will pick up the order and deal with the matter.

None Delivery still no refund

Ordered 4x2 timber left few days chased up was told by Steve being delivered the day after day after came no delivery no phone call had to ring myself said the driver had been suspended couldn't get the wood to me would issue a refund now a week later no refund rang up again the guy said he would pass message on refund takes up to 5 days I said he said that last week

additional costs after placing order

Ordered 400 Ketley Engineering 65mm blue brick; order was processed ok and 3-5 working days lead time assured. I was called to be told that they can only source the bricks for an additional £150 delivery charge, despite the order being above £500 (exc VAT) with assured free delivery. Not comfortable with conducting business 'dell-boy 'style, so I've cancelled it altogether

Wanted me to pay a courier cost…

Item not available unless I pay an extra courier cost, after already paying a delivery fee of £35? Their name literally says they’re nationwide, so why is it my problem if they have to pay a courier to secure the stock they are selling? A week after ordering some insulation I got an email saying no stock anywhere unless they got a courier and did I want to pay for that? After paying £35 for delivery I cannot comprehend telling a customer they would have to pay more. I replied to say just give me the refund but I thought this was pretty poor, and have had no response. Only reason not to give 1* is because prior to ordering I did speak to someone helpful in their sales team. Update - their response just doubles down on what they think is reasonable. Them doing everything possible to deliver the goods they are selling and which I’ve already paid a delivery fee for - but that is just me paying extra for a courier, so it’s not them doing anything. They seem to have missed the point as to why this was such bad service.

Really helpful team

Really helpful team. I needed a bulk delivery for personal rather than business and found the team really helpful. Quick and easy. After calling prior to ordering to…

After calling prior to ordering to confirm delivery date and stock availability, received an email to advise the timber was unavailable, order delivered 24/06/24 and 3 of the 8 x 15mm plasterboard sheets arrived damaged and driver couldn't take them back as order was fulfilled by 3rd party. Spoke to Tilly who advised they would be uplifted the next day 25/06/24. Had to arrange for friends to come back and wait for the uplift as drivers so not handle the materials at all. Nobody arrived to collect and as I work offshore and back to work today they how can't rebook collection until I get home on 3rd August which will be out with their return window, also wasn't allowed to leave outside my front door for uplift as the plasterboard needed to be kept flat and dry. Really not a good experience

The boys were very helpful

The boys were very helpful, wasn’t impressed having to fit my identity it wasted time on my order being placed. I had to cancel the builder because the drains didn’t arrive. If on ordering I had been told a delivery date would help. Overall I would use the company again. Thank you.
