Recently I purchased these boots: Demonia Bolt 100 Black Leather Look 8 Eyelet Lace Up Ankle Boots Demonia Bolt 200 Black Leather Look 10 Eyelet Lace Up Calf Boots A pair for me and a pair for my husband. We've been wearing them non-stop since receiving them in May, and they are great! Well fit, easy on/off with the zipper, look amazing and were exactly what we were both looking for, having worn higher lace-up boots for years! The time saving alone, well worth it! The service from Alternative Footwear was superb too. From order processing, to quick delivery and prompt reply to a follow up email. All top notch service. The only thing I would highlight about the boots (having been accustom to leather boots, so a more breathable material), your feet do get a bit damp feeling when wearing for long periods of time. A quick trip to Boots (or the like) for moisture wicking insoles helped that though. Highly recommend either of these boots (and really much of the catalog from AF since I've purchased previously from them, and will continue to in the future too). Happy shoe shopping, you'll certainly find more than one pair you want!

Pleaser Sky 1020 Black Patent High Heel Platform Lace-up Ankle Boots with Inside Zips. Size 4 I have wanted these boots for ages and was unsure of the sizing as I'm a 3.5. Some brands run small and some to size, so I called customer service for advice. They were so helpful! They suggested ordering both sizes to see what worked the best. They came really quickly too! I was so excited to try them on, as being 4'11" these would make me well over 5'! Size matters, right?! The size 3 was snug but the size 4 fitted perfectly and I felt really stable in them, even though they're really high! I've returned the size 3 and I'm sure I'll be promptly refunded for the unwanted pair. Overall, a positive experience and a fantastic service from a reliable retailer and I'll be back again for sure. I absolutely love theese shoes! They are my first platform shoes, so I was a little worried that they might be really heavy and hard to walk in, but they were neither. I feel like a queen from this height, and I can walk steady. They arrived in the original box, to my door in Sweden within a week from my order. Unfortunately I wasn't home, but they were ready for pick-up at my closest grocery store the next day. Really good service. I usually wear size 39 (euro), and I ordered size womens uk 6. I was worried they might be too small because I've heard that they are a bit on the smaller side, but they fit well. In total I'm really pleased with my order.
