Airport Van Rental

We arrived in Las Vegas after 11:00PM, we proceeded straight to baggage claim and sent 2 of our group members to get the van while the rest of us waited for luggage. I tried calling the counter to tell them we were on our way but there was no answer. It took them until 12:03 to get to Airport Van Rental. The worker was coming out of the door saying, "We are closed." He just kept repeating that. We were unable to pick up our van. We returned the next morning at opening to find out they gave away the one we were supposed to have and gave us a lesser quality van. It was not clean and really hard to get our luggage into since the back row did not fold down. Not a great experience.

Pleasant staff, interested in where we were going, how to get there. Found the vehicle not cleaned, ready to go, and immediately made it right. Easy check in and out. Prompt transport from and to airport. (This van rental is just outside airport property.) Got a Caravan for the same price as other car agencies charge for a sedan.

We had an excellent experience with AVR in Denver. Their price for a four-wheel drive vehicle was the best despite the discounts I get thru Costco and AAA. The CSR gave me a heavier vehicle because we were headed to the ski areas. It was a nice spring-like day in Denver but boy were we glad we had the heavier Dodge Durango when we went up into the mountains that evening! The car was great and so was the service. Just an all-around good experience.

LAS Van Rental. Directions for pick up of van in LAS were accurate, excellent, and required reading, but easily lead to the across the street facility. In 30 years this was the first time the agent asked me to check out the vehicle for bumps and scratches; and then .....gave me a flashlight to do this night time magic. BLUF: Treated as though I was deserving of respect. Great value for price

Maybe not a BIG BOY in the car rental game, but they have the same vehicles at almost HALF THE PRICE! Chalk it up to not having the overhead the other car rental companies have. Put it this way, need a car for a week or more, you probably don't need to have a service that has your reserved car waiting for you on the lot with the keys in it and ready to drive away. For 50% less money, I am MORE THAN WILLING to walk inside, present my reservation paperwork and walk out with the vehicle promised (if not the car promised, I have been upgraded to a bigger vehicle in the past during peak season) and be on my merry way. Rented during HIGH SEASON SKI WEEK and the service was top notch from being picked up at the airport and shuttled their lot, quick service at the check-in desk and having vehicle brought to front of lot. NEW vehicle, clean and NON SMOKING vehicle was a plus. As an added value, the gas price WAS THE CHEAPEST in town by a considerable amount, no accepting the full tank refill option by them saved me extra money too. SAME vehicles as the big boys, but you PAY LESS than with the big boys, a no brainer from my wallet POV.

They have very good price for their inventory of vans. I had a brand new Dodge, and very affordable. The place doesn't look like much at first, and costumer service can be improved. But, at the end what's important is the car you are renting and mine was excellent. Make sure you give yourself extra time to go back to the airport.

When I went to pickup the van, the employee was friendly and explained everything in details. It was fast in the process. The only thing I don’t like it was the van’s mileages was high (around 60k) and the check engine was on after we drove 5 hours later. Also, the mileage on the document was registered under two hundred something miles under the actual mileage.

Very disappointed ordered A 11 passenger van called the night before they said no problem got there they did not have one made me rent two mini Vans and overcharged me

It was very good experience, I booked thru expedia and there was no gimmick or hidden fees like the other rental company.. the 200$ deposit came back to my visaaccount after a 2 days. No complaints, insurance is reasonable.. I would definitely recommend this AVR rental and would rent again when I am in LV.. Thanks, very good and honest services.

I booked an SUV in Colorado in the winter, AVR no problems. Fox and Thrifty car rental both tried to extort more money at the counter. Up selling is expected; ski rack, prepaid gas, insurance, etc. But, substituting a 2wd Hyundai for a Jeep Cherokee is a rip off.

Same person at counter for pickup and drop off and he was great. Will return because of his service No problems great van

The check-in process was very slow and the vehicle we got was in desperate need of new brakes. It was kind of embarrassing to drive since it made a terrible noise every time the brakes were applied. But, the price was good for the type of vehicle.

I was promised satellite radio but 2 days into my week long rental, the service stopped because the subscription hadn’t been renewed. I was also pressured to pay for a full tank of gas in advance instead of the cheaper option of renting with a full tank and returning the vehicle with a full tank, in which case I would have only paid for the fuel I used instead of fuel I didn’t use. I returned the vehicle with a quarter tank of gas and assumed that the rental company would fill it and refund the difference.
