Airport Van Rental

I rented a van online and was given a completely different van model. It’s completely false advertising when they offer something online and even include a picture and you go in and they give you a van that’s in a different category on their website.

I would never rent from them again! They are not 100ft from the bus drop off. It’s further then that. There was only one person working and no AC in the place. The guy behind the counter never checked in the van from the previous person then handed me the keys. Upon my return they charged me for gas, even though I filled it. I had to email them a copy of the receipt for them to give me my money back. It’s a scam and I would never in a million years rent from them again

Had to wait for a shuttle, but not for too long. Tires weren't in great shape, but the van was nice. TOLL $ is a crock.... no electronic sticker and no way to pay the tolls with cash and they charge you $5 + the toll each time you go on a toll FOR EVERY DAY YOU RENT IF YOU GO THROUGH ONE TOLL IN THE WHOLE RENTAL PERIOD. This was very misleading. I would choose another company next time.

I love AVR they have been my convention saver for the past years. They are friendly helpful and prices have been reasonable I rent from AVR every 6 months. Vans are clean and properly taken care of no complaints at all.

AVR had more competitive rates than everywhere else I had checked by a long shot. Shuttle picked us up right away and the customer service was great. Would definitely recommend in the future!

BEWARE SCAM!!! this company will advertise a low price vehicle with unlimited mileage. When you go to pick the car up they will inform that you need a plane ticket from that day to get unlimited miles!!! Save yourself and go to enterprise.

I had to wait for 30 min at the shuttle to get your office and again wait 1 hour to get the vehicle and it is old vehicle

Shuttle and pickup were fine, though we did have to call...so don't just wait at the pickup stop - call! The shuttle driver even rescued an elderly couple that were overwhelmed and lost, despite mentioning that it was against policy and risked his job. He deserves commendation and a raise! I wish I could remember his name, so I could give him credit here (though he's probably glad, since this was against AVR policy, I gather.). Desk staff was courteous and quick. Vehicle was fine. This was the 5 star portion. However, when we got to our destination the back hatch wouldn't open on the van, and AVR did an awful, awful job of addressing this issue. We couldn't return it right away - no replacements available - and we had to drive about 2.5 hours (round trip) to pick up the replacement, right in the middle of our first vacation day. While we were there, the service was so inattentive and poor, we honestly didn't have any idea if/when they were getting our car. They made us wait while they tried to fix the hatch...then wait longer for...uh...reasons, I guess? Since they wouldn't interact with us, I really don't know why. I can't imagine how they could have handled this more poorly. Oh the whole, this rental was MUCH cheaper than a lot of the other options, and it seemed great at first...but much less great when we had to deal with a problem.

Honest, Reliable

The vehicle and staff were fantastic!!! However, we had to really read the fine print to know what to do once we arrived at the Denver airport, especially since it was 7 am.

Friendly staff and fair pricing. Only draw back is that is not in the airport.

Experience was poor. Van was not as I expected and a ton of hidden fees.

We had to wait for almost an hour to pick us up at the airport, it was almost impossible to call up and contact somebody, it was all unusable recordings... And to return the Van after hours, it was a nightmare... We had to leave the van with someone else as indicated, but the guy who got it did not have a clue... And afterward, I wanted to call up to confirm the Van was returned... Again a maze or recordings which led nowhere, when I finally was able to talk to a human being... He told me he was not responsible and I had to call someone else, who never answer... Your customer service really sucks!

I booked this company through Priceline who assured unlimited mileage. Never thinking to to question whether that would be true or not, I showed up to pick up the van (site not at the airport as the name would lead one to believe), and I then was told that I in fact DID NOT have unlimited mileage, but only 250 per day, then I would be charged .25 cents per mile. They said that if you are a local renting from them, you don't get unlimited, only if you are flying in from out of town. Now what kind of sense that makes, I don't know. They informed me this would have been clearly marked in the fine print of both Priceline and their contracts, which while true, seems slippery at best. Doesn't seem ethical to me not to point this out in a clearer manner. I was also charged a hefty deposit (which I did not get back because of the extra miles). All told, I had to pay over $400 over the quoted price for the van for a week's rental of a mini van. It's really a shame because the staff was extremely courteous, but I'm afraid I can't recommend this company.
