Airport Van Rental

No one explained that I could call the office and they would pick me up at the terminal. Instead I ended up on an airport employee shuttle, dropped off at another pickup point with other car rental patrons and we were all lost and confused. They charge a $200 deposit which is unacceptable these days. They really tried to pressure me into purchasing their insurance and a full tank of gas in advance. If I were a more timid person I would have felt like I had no choice. They brought out a beat up van. It was dented all over and had obviously been sideswiped. I had clients to entertain and friends to visit. This was not the image I wanted to present to my clients. Not acceptable at all. The rest of the rental phase was fine. They refunded the deposit upon return. The man who drove me back to the LAX terminal was very very nice.

Great customer service. Disappointed in the extra charges for leaving the vehicle at the airport. The additional insurance fees. Would rather be able to get vehicle closer to the airport.

The van was in terrible working condition and would not have been able to make the road trip for which it was rented. It was also dirty and ragged on the inside. When we called to let them know about the shimming of the steering when driving up and down hills, we were told to return it, but then had to pay close to $100 as penalty! Unacceptable customer service.

AVR was a little scary at first but once we had the shuttle van appear everything was as promised. They gave us a very nice Dodge Durango and it was a pleasure working with them.

Admitted False Advertising. They said they would provide a shuttle to and from the airport and the rental van pickup location. They did neither. They made us use Uber to get to the pickup location and said they would reimburse us. After 3 phone calls they did. I called multiple times to make sure we could get from the dropoff location to the airport when we returned. They never called back so we had to make our own arrangements to get back to the airport. When I asked to be reimbursed for it, the supervisor admitted they were advertising false information, but said his boss said they could not reimburse us for the return to the airport. Save yourself time and money and rent from somewhere honest. Overall renting somewhere else will save you money and a lot of headache. Made a poor start to our vacation.

Good pricing; even beats the rates for many economy cars at other rental agencies. Great service; very accommodating. Nice vans.

Do not rent from avr . Made a reservation for 12 passenger van was not there when I got there waited 45 minutes only to get a 7 passenger van horrible customer service not enough employees very sketchy and ghetto rental company overcharged for insurance that i declined. No help at all I repeat do not rent from AVR

Price was almost double than what I booked . I was helpless, I’m a mom and my family was waiting on our van to continue our family vacation. I expressed this and had my original reservation w the price I agreed to and no one cared . Stick w name brand companies, you’ll end up paying more otherwise

It was okay, if you are a LAS vegas local you have to pay over 250 miles per day. Renting a Van, you obviously will be traveling out of state. An extra $100 that was unnecessary especially since I’m a local. Where were the local deals? Van was dirty in the inside and not my first choice if I need to rent again.

Denver: Very good prices (much lower than others), service at rental facility. Shuttle service good. Definitely will consider again.

Very helpfull and friendly staff. I had a flat going back to airport to pickup friends and dtove back to rental car center where ninivan was promptly exchanged for a new one

Was sending cars to pick us up to the wrong airport 3-4 times before I realized the issue - despite the fact they had the reservation info in front of them. Suggested their gas was “cheaper” when in reality they were arranging to have me prepay for the whole tank even though I wasn’t going to use anywhere near all of it. When I voiced frustration about this they didn’t deny what they’d done, but no element of apology. Very slow set-up. Overall pretty frustrating.

Easy pick up and return. I would give a 5 star, but found out that as a local person I was limited to driving miles. We used the van for a weekend in Napa and just made it back to rental before going over. Otherwise great place to rent.

This place was horrible. I do not recommend going with this company

Brenda Brown our customer service representative did a great job and we felt that we got the right SUV at reasonable price for our ski trip to Vail.
