Airport Van Rental

We had a great experience. Renters need to be advised to tack an additional 45 -60 minutes onto their travel time as the rental facility is an additional shuttle ride beyond the bus to rental cars. Small operation so patience is needed with ataff who are busting their butts to take care of customers. Everyone was professional polite and our needs were met. There was a gentleman there at the same time whonhad not allocated enough time and was angry and rude to staff. We give high marks. Only reason it is not a 5 is distance and time from airport.

We had a great experience with this company the vehicle was nice and in great condition the people were friendly and it was much cheaper than enterprise or any of the other name brand companies. I would use them again.

The Team there were VERY accommodating and friendly. Actually saved me money with their information. The person who clean the van was the same way. Will get a Van from them again!

The guys who helped me were great. Friendly, courteous and professional. Check in and check out were seamless and quick. The shuttle was timely and reliable. I would definitely rent from them again. The Dodge Durango was a great truck. Rock solid in ice and snow.

The initial rental process was great! Quoted a decent rate, arrived on day of pick up, rental was in great condition, paid for updated model after agreeing to ..the price increase. Upon the return it was easy simple and pleasant. Only issue was the final cost was about $70 over the quote. Asked the customer service rep to explain and he really didn't offer much explanation to help me understand. So I took the extra as a loss cause I had more important things to focus on. A month later I receive my credit card statement and to my shock what was actually charged on my card was over $600 for a rental that started off at 258 for 5 days. I will be calling to get this resolved and get something reimbursed. I just wanted to share my experience before I resolved the problem. This way if they do right by the customer, ME, I can then return to leave a better review.

I booked car with price of 156.82 and was charged an additional 175.19 upon drop off at AVR and the attendant present was no help and was unwilling to investigate at all he just said that there was nothing he could do. Other than that the avr experience was great and i really mean that. Great cars. Shuttle was fast for pickup and drop off. I believe avr will fix the mishap on the pricing.

Off site location, hours of operation, made the car pick up experience a three hour ordeal. Unacceptable. Car return was uneventful.

Not enough employees, who were on professional with very poor attitudes. They could care less about the customers!

Worst shuttle service, especially when travelling in a large group. The lady at the front desk was unprofessional as she was eating the whole time while doing the rental. I know car rental try to push their optional coverages but this lady tried to bully me into buying the coverage. Save your the time, rent from a place that has a dedicated frequent shuttle. I must have called 10 times from lax before someone in their office picked up their phone. Do not rent from here.

Our early return was handled graciously and to our satisfaction. The pickup, however was awkward as we expected to pickup our van at the airport, not10 miles away! Ace rental specializes in vans. Their cost was very affordable. The problem was not being informed of the steps required to access the van. We could have phoned for pickup directly from the terminal and saved time as well as worry. Took an uber to the location, immediately got worried as it is small and a bit run down. But the worry went away when I got in and the two ladies behind the desk were helpful and friendly. The van was clean and in great shape, the shuttle back to the airport was fast, and I would strongly recommend them to anyone!

I had a flat tire with the rental van and called in to report it three days before returning the van. On the phone the only thing mentioned was that I didn't have complete coverage and would have to replace it, which I did. On returning the vehicle I waited in line (I was the only customer) while 3 employees visiting and another (the supervisor) telling me someone would be with me shortly. Ten minutes later he helped me (3 other employees standing around, poor customer service). I mentioned about the flat tire, thinking it would be on my file since I called in, but it was not and then informed me that I needed to fill out an accident report. He also informed me that I was three hours late and would be charged a late fee (I understood that it was an 8 day rental). I did everything I was supposed to do including calling in and reporting the flat tire, calling my AAA account to put on the spare and get a recommendation of the best place to get a new tire which I paid for ($126). I travel quite a bit and this was the first time I have used AVR. The poor customer service and the supervisor not really knowing what to do and making me fill out an accident report when there was no accident or damage was a waste of time when traveling. I will not rent or recommend this company to any other travelers.
