Prepaid reservation was cancelled on a pretext and then was insulted by staff.
Overall fair price! BUT there were some hidden fees and restrictions that came as a surprise. For example on the website it advertised unlimited milage but when we came to pick up the car we were told that unlimited miles only applies to customers with flight itinerary.
Not recommended. Would not accept my extended coverage that I already have in place (every other insurer accepts), location is not convenient, vehicle had lots of miles on it. However the staff were very nice. Also, the Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy for Trust Pilot is ridiculous, do you expect anyone to actually read it before agreeing? Why not just say why you're collecting my info, how you'll use it and who you'll share it with?
The individuals at the counter or very gracious knowledgeable and help me get the best car for the money I would highly recommend them
I gave them a 4 because the pick wait was really long, especially waiting with two little kids. You go from the airport to this random parking lot where other smaller businesses do pick ups - there isn’t good marking so you just kind of are left to figure it out. There’s no easy way to call them either - it tells you they come in “15 minute rounds” but it was longer than that. Then once there - we waited about 30 minutes to get a van - that was a really long wait as well. Only one person checking folks out - another was checking in. Other than that - the van was clean, newer, ran great. Great prices as well, staff was friendly.
Paperwork air pick up was a little slow other than that the experience was very good and the vehicle Dodge Darango was exceptional
The shuttle from the airport was an unmarked beat up red van....my kids were afraid to get it. Drove at least 15 min to a filthy Ramada Inn which is where the office is. Vehicle was filthy on the inside and shook every time we turned. Had over 80,000 miles. On the plus side, the employees were extremely helpful, kind, and polite.
The VAN rental experience was very good - the only reasons for not giving 5stars is the 250Miles/Day limit and the very long check-in and check-out delays at the office (They need more staff @ BUSY times, which is very predictable)!
instruction in the email are wrong about how to get to the remote car depot. Phone number on the email received with reservation is just ringing, no one picked up. once at the location, very slow, only couple agents and takes a long time to get your turn.
Pay more get the true rental company
They scammed me into paying twice for insurance and overpaying for gas. Van was not vacuumed out when I received it.

I like AVR a lot. I had an issue with a new policy for local drivers and the team worked with me to find a solution that worked for both sides. I appreciate what they did for me and because of it I will be returning as a customer in the near future.
The Van was very comfortable easy to drive. The only thing I didn't like was the extreme pressure put on me to buy the insurance.
A great find. We ended up renting a minivan for a couple days for less than an economy car at the airport. Everything went smoothly. Shuttle was prompt and nice on both pickup and return. Van was ready when we got there and paperwork was quickly handled. We will use again.

The car was very good. However, we had a big issue with the charges for gas. There were so many places for me to initial I unwittingly agreed to prepay for a full tank. Nonetheless the company told me to bring back the car with The tank full. It tried to hide the fact that it wanted me to pay for gas twice.
