Airport Van Rental has mixed reviews from customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about customer service and expensive.

Prepaid reservation was cancelled on a pretext and then was insulted by staff.
Two years in a row we have had a horrible experience! We have had to wait over two hours both times to get a vehicle even when booking it months in advance. We even put the time our flight landed as requested and it still took two hours from the time they picked us up at the airport to the time we got our rental vehicle. We will not be going back to book here!
The van we received worked well but was not clean and ready for a new customer. Also, the fine print saying we had a certain amount of mileage when our rental through Priceline said unlimited mileage was sketchy.
The van was dirty, the windshield wipers needed to be changed and the driver side headlamp was out. It was my fault for not noticing this when I picked it up. (It was raining, and I just needed to get going) The only reason i am giving two stars is because the staff was fantastic.
The vehicle was damaged when rented to me and the unlimited mileage was falsely advertised.
Simple, affordable and a great van. What more can you ask? Very happy with AVR.
Very nice vehicle if you need full size SUV or bigger. I hope they go into mid-size and full size automobiles.
Cruise control was not working The car was not washed and clean
It took us over two hours to get to the remote rental business. Called them at least five times. Several times it went to an automated message telling us what bus to take. The problem was when the bus got to us it was always full and no room. The green bus made many stops, including for employees of the airport. The bus was not specific to Avr rental company. Finally they sent a van for us that took another 20 minutes. The gentleman at the counter was unsympathetic to our plight. He would not apply a 10 % online coupon we had, saying we already got a discount rate. The rate we got was what was published. With that said the van we got was clean and met our expectations that way. Higher ups need to examine there transportation from the airport, and coupon policies.
The girl at the rental counter was very nice. It was quick and easy, and the van was clean.
All the employees I interacted with were professional and very helpful. It was the most pleasant car renting experience I've had so far. Will come back again and will recommend AVR to friends. Top notch! Thanks!!

The 12 passenger van we rented was great! Transport from the airport after arrival and then back to the airport after returning the rental was smooth. The only thing that was not smooth was the pickup. We arrived at ~2pm in the afternoon and it took about an hour to get our vehicle. (Found out later the gas tank needed refilling, so she had to drive quite a ways to get it filled up.) Otherwise, a good experience overall. Staff members were friendly.

Everything from beginning to end was easy, efficient and great customer service. I would totally use them again.
Prepaid for my van rental, upon arrival I called and was informed that they had no vans available. Not really sure how a prepaid van can be gone, but when I asked for options, the gal told me to try another rental service at the airport and request a refund. "Thanks for the excellent help". I would consider this place the Wal-Mart of rental agencies.
