Everything was good except fot Portland office closes at 2:00 pm on friday. Thats too early as my plane was delayed an was told i could get a hotel room.

Prepaid reservation was cancelled on a pretext and then was insulted by staff.

Van did great
I was experiencing a very difficult situation with the sudden notification of my Father's Death. Last minute changes to flights and rentals needed to be made, The Employees of this company not only were very helpful but empathetic to my situation. They walked me thru everything, even the shuttling to and from airport. Thank you!

I was a little surprised at the price charged was higher than the amount stated, but the difference was the held amount and was completely returned to me without my calling. Excellent gentleman at check in
The service was great but the van wasn’t as clean as it should have been! However, the can drive well and the attendants and shuttle driver were kind and accommodating!
Ordered a minivan and purchased insurance from a third party. When I arrived to pickup the vehicle, I was told the insurance was not valid and I needed to purchase the insurance through AVR. I upgraded to a full size SUV for the week. A couple of days into our trip we developed a tire issues. I called the roadside service number and left a message but didn’t get a call back. I called again the next day and left another message but no call back. I called again at the end of the day and was able to speak with a representative who provided direction on getting the tire replaced.

Read the fine print! Made a mistake on my online registration and needed vehicle an extra day. The rate went up for the extra day but my bad. The gentleman who helped me check out my vehicle indicated that, rather than extending the contract then and there, it would be no problem to just call it in and let them know I'd be needing vehicle for an extra day and there would be no extra money out of pocket. However, when I did so, they slapped a $25 extension fee that I had no prior knowledge of, I could have avoided this when I picked up the vehicle, and the associate had ample opportunity to inform me of this. Instead he chose to mislead. When I complained about this over the phone and in person, there was little sympathy - yeah, I know it was in the fine print! I then saw the gentleman who originally checked the vehicle out to me and confronted him about this, he said "Don't worry, I'll call you." Do you think I ever got a call back?
Very deceptive, we got there and it was not what was promised in the advertisement and they were not compensate us at all. Never go there again highly highly suggest not going here
Great service at pick up & return. No complaints
Good van, definitely not new but did not give us problems. Was missing all the parts of the jack - check-in and out was easy.
Always go out of their way to help accomodate our needs.
Danny is very nice and professional, the other guy that works there is on the rude side
AVR goes out of their way to make sure everything is easy and seamless. We felt well cared for and attended to - best service ever!
POOR. Old Van, Poor service, not ready for my visit
Here is what I got...why consumer has to bear the consequence of info error between website and car rental company? "We are disappointed. On Orbits we clearly selected 8 passenger car and redirected to your company to book a van, but on 3/25 when we pick up car on site, all payments are paid but was told mini van is only 7 passengers. 8 people car is not available. I cancelled the booking immediately but still got charged $90 for nothing!!!! I did not even touched touched the car key at all....whats wrong???? Terrible experience ever."
Great customer service, great pricing
The type of car was what I had reserved. It was available at the time promised. It was clean and in excellent condition. The only problem was that I had indicated I would return the car around 8:00 pm and arrived a little late due to a blizzard, found that the office closed at 8:00 pm, and then had to return the car to a nearby lot where the drop-off point wasn't clear. A heads-up on this when I picked up the car would have been helpful.
