Abundance Investment

Easy to use platform, been using it for years. I love the clear and easy to understand risk warnings, but most of all it enables me to access (and select) real organisations making a genuine impact with the money they raise.

Easy to use platform with good customer service. Happy to invest into Southwark my local council to help them decarbonise.

Abundance investment is a rip off, i invested in 2 companies Celtic Renewables and what is now known as Tandem. Both these investments are currently worthless although they say they are worth £3900, but if you ca sell them they have no value. I have waited for many years ( at least7) to get any return but have received nothing. Abundance does not even operate a recovery team on behalf of investors if the investments they recommend go in default. There maybe some interest paid ( regularly delayed) but the shares cannot be traded not even on an internal market which Abundance not the companies operate. Do not be conned by their talk of being ethical and edo they are just another bunch of people taking their management fees but offering no protection on the behalf of investors and their due diligence which was the basis of my investment is clearly unreliable. DO NOT INVEST WITH THIS COMPANY

Really simple process. It is fantastic to be able to invest in my county to help address climate change :)

Simplified investing which was a pain previously.

This is a great platform for investing in net zero projects within an ISA. I have been using Abundance for several years and now have a 'portfolio' of 18 companies and councils investments. I have 2 in default, but that's the risk you take (which Abundance make very transparent and why I have <10% of my total investments in Abundance). My reason for not giving it 5* is that it is not easy to move data in and out of the platform (e.g. to analyse marketplace offers)

Money was Declined In trying to move money via TruPilot it was declined "authorizing-Expired". Never had a problem with this app before, even with NS&I !!

Straightforward, and no problem with a small investment.

It is easy to invest with Abundance and they provide a wide-ranging portfolio of interesting investments

So pleased to have been able to invest in and be a part of my local community's efforts to move towards net zero. The process has been really simple and straightforward and it's really great to be able to support to my local area's efforts which are so important. Thank you to Abundance to providing a way to do this easily and effectively! All in a great experience to be recommended.

Doing the knowledge test was difficult as page kept crashing

Hoping my investment helps make a small contribution to a more green & sustainable future for the local people.

I had a very similar experience to Jon Nardiz - of the three companies I invested in, two are in default and one has been restructured so I won't get my principal back for an additional 5 years that was added to the initial investment duration (to be honest given my experience so far I am becoming less and less confident that I will get any of my principal back..). Communications are poor once you have invested in a company. One investment I had that was meant to mature in August 2023 has been going through an administration process since January 2024. The last update we received was 5 months ago in July 2024... As soon as I can get whatever of my money is left out of these investments and close my account I will do so

Simple to navigate.

It is quite easy to get around but I do find it a bore to have to go in an out of things. I particularly found yesterday in the trading, that I wanted to buy all the available investments for sale in a particular fund but had to do it one at a time. It would be better if there were a way of consolidating particularly when the bundles being sold a for less than £100

Last April I decided to invest in the Southwark Council Green Investment - I read the information, paid the money into Abundance and as far as I could see, ticked the right boxes. I was under the impression it had been put in the Southwark investment - then 6 months later I got an email telling me that my money was sitting in a 0% interest account with Abundance. I have now moved it into a similar investment and cannot see how it sat unused for so long. Not happy.

Very confusing application process. Went through many screens to start with, then had to be approved, of which there was no warning. Eventually transferred my cash but no receipt or confirmation email was received. On reentering the website I found it was deposited, but there no instructions as to what to do next. Eventually I worked it out, and I think I've completed the investment correctly. But the confirmation email doesn't have any details in it!

Abundance continues to offer an excellent, efficient online customer experience that enables me to invest in the causes that I care about.
