Just spent 40 minutes in Ho Chi Minh transfer with Vietnam airlines explaining to me how paying for an upgrade to business class doesn’t mean you have a business class ticket, and that really it is my fault that their website misled me into thinking upgrade to business class includes lounge access. Just paid for access to a different lounge. Don’t expect an understanding of customer service. Don’t expect a good experience that is focused on customer. Poor thought for customer can ruin a good experience of Vietnam.

Before our flights the customer services provided were a disappointment and we had numerous changes to our flights. However, once our trip started, Paris CDG to Hanoi, we received excellent inflight services. The leg room in economy was fine, the food provided was excellent as was in flight entertainment. Constant supply of refreshments were offered during a return flight home from Ho Chi Minh to Paris. We received the same excellent service during our trip. We also had three short internal flights, bottle water and towels were provided even on these, just over 1hr flights. Very impressed

Website is a disgrace. Tried to book a flight 4 times and it didn’t work. Will fly with someone else now.

I have flown with Vietnam Airlines on numerous occasions, long haul as well as internal flights in Vietnam and would definitely recommend. The long haul flights have a great entertainment choice, unlike other airlines, and what was important for me as a vegetarian was food. It was an easy process to book special meal through their website and all the meals tasted nice. There was one flight slightly disappointing, but it must've been due to staff, when we were served dinner and then breakfast, during a 12hr flight, nothing in between. Staff were nowhere to be seen for most of the flight so people had to go to the kitchen looking for some snacks and drinks. But this was just a once off, other 12hr flights provided plenty of food and anytime I opened my eyes there were walking by with a trolley. Staff, especially on the short flights in Vietnam vere extremely professional and polite. Highly recommended, I will be booking flights with Vietnam Airlines again

My luggage was damaged beyond usable condition. After all the fuss, I got the claim report and I asked how to proceed with the claim. The staff only said I can do it by myself without much explanation. No matter how I search in google or by email, there was no further resolution as days passed by. It been 28 days since the incident happened. I suggest to all re-consider again when you are looking at their airline. Their insurance may not be as effective due to their service level.

Read your ticket carefully! We decided to fly the National carrier Vietnam Airlines business class from Hanoi to Bangkok to connect with our business class Turkish Airlines flight home to the UK. Unfortunately we didn’t check the baggage allowance and as they only allow one piece of luggage in business class and we got severely stung over £150 to check our other bag. Stupidly we had assumed this business class would be the same allowance as other business class airlines So be warned this airline takes you by surprise…. read your ticket carefully! But it doesn’t end there as their lounge at Hanoi airport is poorly stocked too ….no coffee or black tea available, no usb charging and a the lounge itself feels in need of updating. Given future travel choices I would strive to avoid this airline in future and will certainly not be recommending it to anyone

Reserved two flights. Both oversold. Got bumped off twice. No money back just a worthless credit, minus tax and what is laughably called service fee.

Excellent business class product, transfers in Ho Chi Minh are quick and efficient and fares can be very competitive. As good as much more famous/expensive alternatives, I have never been disappointed, never had them cancel on me, lose my bags etc which is more than I can say for many other airlines.

pourquoi des cookies ? sur le site de VN Airlines, impossible de refuser les cookies. Je n'achète rien à une compagnie qui veut, sans me laisser le choix, m'imposer des cookies. En France, ce serait illégal. Et quand on passe par une agence, pas de cookies.... Vous avez envie, vous, que la Cie nationale d'un pays communiste dépose des cookies dans votre ordinateur ? ?

My luggage did not arrive after my flight from Paris to Hanoi after a moderate flight. It took them a week to find it and send it to the place where I was staying. They promised me compensation for the delay, but after tracing this for 4 months they keep saying they never sent the compensation. Terrible service.

Problem: Website meldete Transaktionsfehler bei Buchung, Geld ist trotzdem geflossen; so kam es zu einer Doppelbuchung des gleichen Flugs / mehrfach Versuche über Vietnam Airlines und Dienstleister, eine Korrektur der Doppelbuchung vorzunehmen; jedoch keine Chance - Online Support von Vietnam Airlines blockiert Emailadresse und ist nicht weiter erreichbar / sehr enttäuschend, daher nie wieder Vietnam Airlines!!!

Auf dem Flug von Frankfurt nach Hanoi war der Monitor und das Leselicht am Sitzplatz ausgefallen,das in Premium Economy,wo man noch viel Geld dafür bezahlt, das angebotene Tablet hatte nur einen deutschen Film im Angebot,der Rest der Filme war auf vietnamesisch, auf dem Rückflug gab es kein Wasser in der Toilette,Viet.Airline hat bis heute auf die Beschwerde nicht reagiert.

Not happy! Vietnam airlines charged my new wife nearly £400 to change the name for our flight to Hanoi on Sunday 11th February this year. We’ve just got married, she has a new name for goodness sake, I feel very disappointed, especially as I spent a lot of money on business class for our honeymoon.

Negligence. The airline killed a dog on board and denied responsibility. Who put a dog cage under piles of luggage????

Il est inadmissible que la banque de vietnam airlines prélève 20€ de commission de change par billet !!!! Alors que que j'ai fais 1 seul paiement pour 2 billets et que la transaction était en euros A fuir!!!

Flug Frankfurt-Hanoi, Gepäcküberbelegung hatte zur Folge, dass etliche Gepäckstücke bewusst nicht mehr mitgenommen wurden.In Hanoi ganz schlechter Service am Reklamationsschalter verlorener Gepäckstücke.

Hallo,die Airline ist nicht telefonisch erreichbar - die App funktioniert auch nicht - es ist daher nicht möglich vegetarisches Essen online über App zu buchen - eine Anfrage online wird auch nicht beantwortet - keine Kommunikation ist möglich - das Schlechteste was ich je erlebt habe - niemals wieder. - ich kann nur jedem davon abraten Mit freundlichen Grüßen Gerda Straetmanns

Von Saigon nach Hue geflogen. Alles wie geplant keine negativen Kritikpunkte. Nicht besonders herausragend, aber auch nichts besonders schlechtes. Verglichen mit anderen asiatischen Fluglinien nach meiner Meinung im oberen Mittelfeld. Preis Leistung für einen Inlandflug absolut in Ordnung, werde gerne wieder mit Vietnam Airlines fliegen. (War mein 3. oder 4. mal und die Ergebnisse sind die gleichen)

Stornierung aufgrund persönlicher Gründe wurde innerhalb von 1 Stunde beantwortet und am nächsten Tag war bereits das Geld auf dem Konto. Top!
