Depuis plusieurs mois et 65 mails ou non réponse car on doit parler en vietnamien !toujours impossible de réserver un billet d'avion sur internet sur leur site car maximum 25 caractères et je dépasse les 25 caractères Autrement refus d embarquement a l aéroport avec réponse très agressive de la compagnie obligé donc de passer par une agence prix plus cher perte de temps etc Pourtant nous sommes en 2025!vol Danang Bangkok 28 juillet toujours obligatoire de passer par une agence car application Préhistorique ne prends que 25 caractères De plus Agent de comptoir homme Vietnam Airlines airport Danang 15 h très agressif et impoli

Lors de notre voyage retour BKK-CDG, un bagage a été complètement éclaté. Nous avons fait la déclaration immédiatement à CDG. La VA m'a demandé par mail des photos de la valise, une facture et un devis de réparation. Depuis 4 mois, c'est le silence radio, aucune réponse à tous mes mails de relance.

Der Flug war OK aber der Service ist unterirdisch. Downgrade von Premium Economy auf Economy und dann versucht man noch am Flughafen einem eine Unterschrift abzuluchsen. Selbstverständlich wird man mit einer ganzen Reihe im Flugzeug geködert. Aber mit der Unterschrift gibt man alle Rechte ab. Unterstes Niveau! Seitdem warte ich auf Erstattung, die mir nach EU-Recht zusteht. Von Vietnam Airlines wird man nur hingehalten. Man solle sich gedulden. Es wird sich bald jemand melden. 10 Wochen nach Flug und immer noch keine Meldung. Das ist eine bodenlose Frechheit! Ich werde NIE WIEDER MIT VIETNAM AIRLINES fliegen!

Very bad experience with Vietnam…

Very bad experience with Vietnam Airlines. The second flight was delayed by 4 hours which made it a total 10 hours waiting at Han Noi airport. No explanation was given. Although you are supposed to get a compensation if the flight is delayed by more than 3 hours, they said it was not an option for this flight. My luggage arrived destroyed in Paris. The airline company is supposed to cover the cost but they ignored my request. Half the crew was unsympathetic, looking annoyed if you ask something. Not going to fly with them anymore.

6h de retard à l'aller : Vietnam Airlines n'indemnise pas !!

6h de retard à l'aller, nous avons donc raté notre correspondance pour le Japon. Nous sommes arrivés un jour plus tard et la compagnie ne répond pas à mes demandes d'indemnisation ! 2h57 de retard sur le retour. J'ai donc perdu une nuit d'hôtel à Tokyo et j'ai loupé mon train du retour mais aucun retour de la compagnie sur ces sujets. Une honte !

I had a very bad experience with Vietnam Airlines. From the beginning, the service was unprofessional and frustrating. The staff were not helpful or friendly, and there was a serious lack of communication. Delays without proper explanation.

Delays upon Delays, time is not informed to the waiting passengers. Also departs from Terminal 1, Philippines wich is most likely the worst place to catch a flight. Unserious and unhelpful staff, customer service is not required on their CV so it seems. I do not recommend any airlines within T1, your best bet would be choosing Cathay Pacific if available. Be warned. Time of my flight is 4 am in the morning, where theres almost no traffic time within the airport, but yet here we are. Ice cold flight, no blanket avail, im 180cm knees are touching front seats. Do not expect a TV on this flight.

Volo non prenotato per loro problem sw, fortunatamente pagato con pay pal,loro pretendono che sia io a cancellare prenotazione ma io non ho prenotazione, così fioccano le mail poi….. interviene pay pal ma il loro servizio clienti e’ terribile! Io parto so i danni e devo risolvere i problemi e loro continuano sorry, unfortunatly ma non propongono alcun rimborso danni subiti….. cambierò compagnia…..

Compagnie décevante !

Nous avons voyagé avec cette compagnie sur un vol long-courrier de 12 heures, et l’expérience fut globalement très décevante. L’appareil était visiblement vieillissant et peu entretenu : plusieurs équipements défectueux (écrans individuels hors service, moquette décollée dans les couloirs, sièges inconfortables…) donnaient une impression de négligence. De plus, aucun mail ou informations ne vous sera communiqués pour procéder à votre enregistrement en ligne. C'est à vous de vous débrouiller pour récupérer les informations. Le service à bord est très en deçà des standards attendus, notamment pour une compagnie membre de l’alliance SkyTeam. Le choix de divertissements est extrêmement limité, la qualité des repas laisse à désirer, et aucun encas ni boisson n’est proposé en libre-service durant le vol — contrairement à d’autres compagnies comme Air France. De plus, les écouteurs sont récupérés 40 minutes avant l’atterrissage, ce qui interrompt prématurément tout visionnage de film. Quant au personnel de bord, il s’est montré peu accueillant, avec une attitude distante, voire agacée, à chaque interaction. On avait constamment l’impression de déranger. En résumé, une prestation bien en-dessous de ce que l’on est en droit d’attendre pour un vol long-courrier, et encore plus surprenante venant d’une compagnie affiliée à SkyTeam. Je ne la recommanderais pas, surtout si vous êtes habitué aux standards d’Air France ou d’autres compagnies majeures de l’alliance.

Terrible Airline

Hãng hàng không quốc gia 4 sao nhưng không tôn trọng khách hàng, thiếu chuyên nghiệp. Chuyến bay Hanoi - Đà Nẵng ngày 9/6/2025 của tôi bị delay hơn 5 tiếng, trẻ con đói, mệt, cả gia đình (và nhiều hành khách có con nhỏ, trẻ sơ sinh khác) vật vã ở sân bay chờ đợi trong vô vọng. Không có bất cứ một thông tin cụ thể hoặc khoảng thời gian áng chừng nào để chúng tôi biết. Một suất ăn miễn phí để giúp trẻ cầm chừng trong thời gian chờ đợi cũng không có. Gửi mail phản ánh lên bộ phận chăm sóc khách hàng thì lại tiếp tục phải đợi. Mất tiền mua vé đắt nhưng khách bị đối xử còn tệ hơn vé ăn xin. Chiều về, Đà Nẵng - Hà Nội ngày 13/6: TIẾP TỤC DELAY.

Très mauvaise expérience avec Vietnam Airlines

Je suis extrêmement déçue par cette compagnie aérienne. J'avais réservé un billet avec un itinéraire Bali - Ho Chi Minh, puis Ho Chi Minh - Paris. Malheureusement, mes plans ont changé et je n'ai pas pu prendre le premier vol. En arrivant à l'aéroport de Ho Chi Minh, j'avais mon boarding pass électronique en main, mais au comptoir, on m'a refusé l'embarquement sous prétexte que je n'avais pas pris le premier vol. On m'a alors demandé de payer 571 USD supplémentaires pour pouvoir prendre mon vol Ho Chi Minh-Paris, ce qui est totalement inacceptable. J'avais déjà payé pour mon billet et ma place dans l'avion ! Cette situation est injuste, frustrante et démontre un manque total de compréhension et de flexibilité de la part de Vietnam Airlines. Je suis choquée par le service et je n’ai aucune intention de voler avec eux à nouveau.

terrible E-Mail Spamming

The flight was good and the service was good. I am only giving one star because, despite numerous requests to stop, I have been spammed almost weekly since the flight and my registration with LOTUS Miles. This is unacceptable.

Tolle Airlines

Tolle Airlines, top modernes Flugzeug, ordentliche Platz am Sitz, gute filmauswahl und Verpflegung. Hat uns von Frankfurt nach Hanoi und von Saigon nach Frankfurt gebracht. Ich würde die Airlines auf jeden Fall wieder buchen.

Ensure Transit Tour's have a confirmation note, don't just accept an email that all is okay.

I am always hesitant to criticise but in this case someone needs to do their job or take responsibility. We flew from Sydney to London via Hanoi, with a long layover of near 14 hours. A part of the service and experience for business class passengers with a long layover is a Transit Tour, which upon application will provide free visas, transport service from and back to the airport, a tour and a hotel stay with meals. We did everything correctly, completed and sent our paperwork weeks before our flight as it is a minimum of 8 days prior to flying to apply. We also sent a separate application on a separate email for our return trip through Ho Chi Min Airport with only a 6 or 7 hour layover. They responded to the latter by stating it was accepted and what to do when we arrived in Saigon. I waited another day or two for the Hanoi stopover and didn't receive anything, so I rang the Sydney office and they were of no help, I don't think the lady understood me. I told her not to worry as we were not getting anywhere. I emailed the help desk in Sydney again with the first application and received a response that it was approved, but I had my doubts as they sent me back a copy of the approval for Saigon. I said no, I'm talking about Hanoi, is it approved? Again, they said yes, it was. And guess what, the staff in Hanoi, at the transfer desk, who were excellent had no record of it. They couldn't do anything. I said I'm not spending 14 hours sitting in the airport, with my wife. I asked them to book me a hotel and I would pay for it, we needed somewhere to go, as it was now 10.30pm on a Saturday night. They couldn't as we didn't have visas. You can't just walk up to the visa counter and get a visa on arrival. So we sat in the lounge for 14 hours. Not happy.

Customer service is lacking…

I waited in line at customer service for an extended period and was then told I could only be helped by the division that processed the order which was in HCMC, whereas I was in Hanoi. I was trying to adjust my flight or get a refund and was unable to get any assistance. I found better customer service with the budget Vietnamese Jet airline, which is a sad case considering Vietnam Airlines acts like the premium airline. Given my experience, I would avoid them in the future.

Worst airline ever

I have travelled internationally more than 20 times and I must say this was by far the most disappointing. I purchased a full paid round trip ticket and yet when me and my husband were not even allowed to approach the check in counter for return flight. I suspect our return seats may have been sold to someone else that I had to buy new ticket to return even though I had already paid for round trip fare one month ago. It's really unacceptable and doesn't make sense at all. Sharing it to all of the passengers to avoid bad experiences during your holidays.
