I’ve ordered many tea sets as well as the tea leaves. The quality of the tea sets are very high and the price is decent. The tea leaves are good quality as well. The shipping could take up to a month. Customer service is good as one time one of my tea sets arrived damaged and I contacted them and the replaced the broken piece free of charge after I sent in photos. Sometimes they include free gifts with your purchase and discounts for purchasing multiple items.

I ordered the dragon cast iron tea pot and it was a better product than I anticipated it being. Very detailed. Works flawlessly. Came with great care instructions. Will purchase all my future tea sets from here!!

I ordered this set after reading how it’s crafted and the way in which each step is important during the Japanese Tea Ceremony. Everything Umi Tea creates is designed to enhance the flavor of the tea which is explained on their site. After receiving the tea set I knew my daughter would be so overwhelmingly happy with it. She is learning Japanese and is learning so much about their culture and traditions. So although the set was made in China; it was designed for the Zen tea ceremony, I believe it’s called. My daughter and I were both amazed at the craftsmanship. She has a special love for Mt Fuji and while the mountain depicted wasn’t Mount Fuji; it still depicts sunrise over a mountain. It’s beautiful! The understated beauty of this set is phenomenal. I definitely plan to buy more from this company of craftsman. The traditional, handmade quality of the set absolutely amazed me and she was so surprised I’d found something of such amazing quality. I was so thoroughly excited that I could do this for her on her birthday. Then there was some sort of issue with usps and the day and 1-2 days after it was due to be here. So, I was becoming quite panicky I wouldn’t receive it for her birthday but Umi Tea saw to it another was shipped and I was able to give it to my daughter on the weekend. Customer service was impeccable! They were kind, understanding and swift to action. There is no way of my expressing how much I adore this company but I sincerely do!

To say these guys are professionals at what they do, I would not be enough descriptive. Being a tea lover from early age, I have been traveling to home country just to stock up with tea arsenal to have enough until my next trip, but considering the fact of not being able to go so often, I was in search for similar product. Absolutely randomly I found this website and was immediately greeted with advice of a professional, who suggested variety of teas and a generous discount added to it (which is a bonus by itself). After the first trial of recommended teas, I knew it will be a repeated business as it exceeded my expectations and I should say every package is unique and the presentation of the product it at highest level. If you are still in doubt with thoughts "should I go for it?", my personal advice would be "YES, YOU WON'T FIND ANYTHING BETTER IN UK". This business definitely does not receive the level of attention as it should be, so I hope people will find this review and take a moment to read through it. All the best UMI TEA Sets.

I really like my travel tea set purchased on this website. It’s not only beautiful, it’s very practical, with a small carrying case that lets me bring loose leaf teas to enjoy on the road. The transaction was straightforward & the product arrived in a timely fashion.

I love my cast-iron teapot set from Umi Tea! I was hesitant to purchase a teapot online because there are so many fake cast iron products marketed as genuine cast iron, but thus far I'm very happy with my teapot. It appears to be real cast iron and well-made. We use it several times a week! I would definitely purchase from Umi Teas again!

This tea set was a birthday gift for my wife - she loves all kinds of teas and has a vast collection of teas. What she needed to go with all the tea was a nice tea set. She spotted this one and fell in love with it. I ordered it for her birthday and it arrived so well packed that it took a while to get it open for wrapping! She loved the set and couldn't wait to use it. Upon review she noticed that the brush set that was supposed to part of the set was missing. I contact Umi who couldn't have been more helpful. They apologized for the oversight and immediately sent the missing parts which arrived quickly. Since her birthday, she has had a few tea parties and each time the tea set is put to good use. She loves showing it off and using it - absolutely beautiful set. The set makes the experience of a tea party even more special - the design and quality of the entire set is wonderful. The cups are perfect for sipping tea and showing off the artwork. We will definitely be shopping more at the Umi Tea Set site - this set is high quality and the customer service is second to none. Great product and great company to deal with. Highly recommend the set and the company.

Okay these reviews are either purchased or these people don't realize what's happening. I bought the tea set "from japan". It was made in china, they forgot multiple things in the order. And it was just a clay pot that was... SPRAY PAINTED. The inside as well. Not even a good job either. Absolutely disgusting lying company that should be boycotted

Umi tea is awesome. Not only do they have a wonderful selection of tea, but their teaware is extremely nice and reasonably priced compared to others. They have many of options from teapots to other accessories. I purchased a really nice glass/porcelain gaiwan from them which I use regularly. I also purchased a ginseng oolong from them which is really really good as well. Their customer service is great as well. Had one minor issue with receiving wrong thing in order and they refunded me immediately and handled it. I have nothing but good things to say about this company and I highly suggest them to anyone in the tea world looking for either tea or teaware!

I've just gotten my hands on this incredible handmade Frog Gaiwan, and let me tell you, it's an absolute gem! I am the very pleased owner of the Umi teapot. Let me say that I use this beautiful and ascetically pleasing tea pot every day. It simply makes me happy to prepare and drink my teas from. The form and feel of the Umi teapot is quite delightful in its simplicity and style. It pours gently and it does not ’spew’ or drip. It does not make a mess. As it sits on my table right now I still enjoy the form, function and beauty of it even though I have owned it for over 6 months. I receive many complements one it from my guests. In, addition, it washes very easily and soap and water do not seem to stain the finish as it appears exactly as new and fresh as it did when I first received it. The Umi company is really quite wonderful in their communications with new buyers. I received my tea pot in a timely fashion. It was very well packed and not damaged in any way. The buying transaction was quite smooth, and easily accomplished. Personally, I prefer to support amazing artisans whenever I can. The purchase of the Umi teapot was an easy decision. It is not ‘cheaply made’, it does not ‘cut corners’ in the fabrication, design, shipping or customer service as many companies do. I truly appreciate that. My teapot is exceptional and it gives me serenity.That is what I have when I seek to relax and serve myself with an enjoyable quiet moment savouring my tea. Thank you.

Initially I expected nothing much, its hard to judge quality of items based on pictures and living far away I presumed delivery was going to take a while. But I was pleasantly suprised by the care in packaging, quality of items and speed of delivery. I would very much recommend this site to anyone.

I ordered my teapot after seeing a YouTube video showing how these are hand crafted. It's quite an amazing process. It arrived in excellent packaging, which was good, our local delivery company is famous for breaking things! The teapot is gorgeous & makes great tea. I even fill it with my Keurig when I'm pressed for time. I showed it to my daughter and she loved it, she's a big tea drinker also. Now I know what one of her Christmas presents will be.

We love to drink tea throughout the day and are trying to cut out as many impurities as we can - including minerals from electric heating elements and associated plastics. I ordered teapot on Umi tea sets because it's made of glass and can be placed directly on the stovetop. The center infuser sits down low enough where the teapot doesn't need to be filled to the brim in order to steep tea. In the pictures, I put more water than I should have because of the type of tea I was brewing. The water level will always be even with the spout, but then, as it's heated it will expand and potentially push out the spout end making a mess and maybe injuring the user with hot water. I have since made several pots of different flavors of tea - some poured over the center infuser, some just steeped inside and they have all turned out great.I have learned to keep a finger on top of the lid while pouring the last of the tea because it will topple over - the strength of the glass held up though and it remained intact. Highly recommended this company for their staff.

This is my one of the favorite company and website Umi Tea Sets ! Very good product and quality, support teams are the best ! I love my tea way and more love it’s from Umi tea company . I didn’t test all tea but I’m working on it ! :) try to find my favorite but they all very interesting flavors. I drink tea using my favorite method, Pin Cha (品茶) or Gong Fu Cha. the process and immersion in meditation during the process gives me a tea state, all this satisfies and saturates my soul and mind , appreciate you for doing us happy !
