Umi Tea Sets

My Umi Tea set is lovely. I received my order on the date promised; it arrived in an elegant box, which I can't throw away. Keep the box because it is so pretty. Thank you UMI

Stunning high quality table. The table is large enough for 10 - 12 gongfu tea cups and aroma cups. Delivery time is great (I live in the states and thought it would be much longer). Will definitely order more supplies from here again. This was my first order with this Umi and I am very pleased.

I ordered this set it a little over a week ago along with an induction heater for my kettle, and a cha he. They came in around 11 days and there's a tracker so I knew where it was. The set is beautifully crafted, it's stunning. Everything about it is gorgeous. We had our friends over and everyone loved it and were very impressed with the overall quality. The cups were all well made. It took us a little effort to open the tea pick. We almost thought it was a defect, but we figured it out. The utensil sets all feels very luxurious. The teas we brewed all tasted fantastic, and everything worked as intended. I did see the ice crack that was described, the texture of the cup did get amplified by the tea. We will see how they go in the long run. The set came with the addition cha he that we ordered. The only drawback was that the box was rearranged to fit the cha he, which required breaking the box storage. This would be our only complaint. I understand trying to save on shipping, but I much preferred that every item in the box has a set place for it. But now it make it a little harder for me to store the items back into the box. But we did figure it out and it's not the biggest deal.

It is beautifully made and obviously handmade as there are traces of handwork. The size is just right for me. I prefer to drink tea from a small cup rather than a large one and this made me happy. Love the floral design. Original product, a true Kutani art piece - absolutely love it and will be buying more from this line.

I do really like this teapot set but it's not perfect. What could be improved? Similar to another review I saw, when you pour this teapot it leaks everywhere. I had to buy napkins to place it on to soak up the tea. Also, even though it was packaged well, two of the cups had cracks/chips in them. This is not the suppliers fault as it had to come from China to the UK, but nonetheless it still happened. This teapot doesn't come with a strainer but you can buy a cheap one that fits as I have. What's good? The set is beautifully made, and the customer service is excellent. When I told them about the chipped cup, they sent a replacement free of charge.

Delicious fruit tea. I rarely drink fruit tea but the apple/rose flavored tea was delicious with a sweet and sour taste. I bought some other different flavored teas for my sister and she especially liked the berry/citrus combo. This flavor is so intense you'd think you are drinking juice!

Arrived in perfect condition. It's an exquisite set and we used it for a Chinese wedding ceremony. Even though the cups are tiny, it was a good size for this use. We plan to use it to serve tea in the future with company testing high quality teas.

I have ordered from them several times and they never disappoint. The quality is always top notch and I never have to worry about my package being broken in international shipping. Phenomenal product

The fair cup sent originally was the wrong one for the set but this was quickly replaced with the correct one with no hassle. Very happy with product and service.

The cup looks beautiful, but I did not drink tea from it yet and am looking forward to using it for puerh teas. I noticed a difference compared to the one I actually ordered, the one I ordered is slightly different from the one I received , as the flower shape has only 5 petals and the onr I actually chose has 9 petals🤔Anyway it's a beautiful cup therefore I am happy. Very cute and good quality. They also have the similar item but made with zixha material. I might buy that one later. They should have put two choices together in the first place.

Excellent packaging. It came in a cute box with a little leatherette snap. The tea pet works wonderfully and makes me smile.

I received a beautiful Yixing Da Hong Pao Clay Pine Teapot for free when I ordered the box of 5 Wabi-sabi Kung Fu Tea Cups. The cups are a lovely size and weight and very pretty. Exactly what I was wanting to gift my friend. To receive free gift is so lovely (I had just been sent some tea samples for free!) but I was overwhelmed with emotion when I opened the box to this teapot. It is so beautiful. The craftsmanship is top notch. Even the sound of taking the lid on and off speaks quality! Purchased a Japanese Glass Fair Cup With Golden Rim from Umi months ago and waited to post a review so I had time with the cup and could give my feedback. First off the cup is very beautiful. It's perfect for pouring my Gaiwan brews into so I can split between two cups as I sometimes share tea with my wife or a guest. I really enjoy the texture of the glass and the gold rim really brings additional flair to its presence. I would recommend buying from Umi as they offer gorgeous pieces.
