Umi Tea Sets

First time buying from this site, and I am very happy with the service and quality of the products. The sales rep chatted with me for one hour to answer all the product questions. One small item broke during shipping, but they responded quick and shipped out a new one. Will buy again.

Where to begin... First, my order took over month to arrive. When I opened to the package, I noticed that a lot of the ceramic pieces had shattered during transit. Not only that, but certain items were just left out (e.g. sending only 1 quantity of multiple items). The worst offense was a bait-and-switch on items in a complete tea set. They sent a completely different tea tray with drain than the photo online, and it didn't match the set at all. When I contacted the merchant, they told me to ship the package back at my cost (well over $100 USD for service back to China) and refused to provide any other resolutions. Avoid this scam site at all costs, not only are their products low quality, they are disingenuous and will not offer any customer service on the items that you order, even if it's entirely their fault.

If you don't want to be troubled and involved with all kinds of complicated process at custom clearance, do not order from this vendor. It is unacceptable their transportation company wants us to sign the receipt when they refuse to open the boxes for us. We were forced to sign when the goods are still in a box. Paid extra for them to deliver to our address which is provided. Doesn't worth these hurdles.

The website is easy to navigate on and to order. This shop has a big variety of premium teas and a lot of promotional offers. The shipping seems quite fast, which is a big advantage. In addition you can get some gifts along with your order !

Overall, good quality, looks exactly like photo. Well packed and super fast delivery too. This is perfect! Met all my expectations. elevated our whole tea drinking experience. Which I thought was so thoughtful! I would recommend it to all my friends when they ask me where I bought it from.

It's a very nice. Perfect size for a tea party. We were very happy with the quality of the product. Also, It is capable of being an everyday teapot if you wanted it for that reason. It heats evenly and is beautiful to look at as well. This teapot is perfect for me in many ways. I definitely recommend it to all the loose leaf tea lovers.

I ordered from this site without looking at any reviews at all and only after placing my order I decided to look what other's people experience was. I didn't really liked what people wrote about umi tea sets so I instantly regreted my order. Fast forward to today, the order took quite long to arrive but it's here and in mint condition. Everything was well packed with bubble wrap and this seethrough plastic. There was also white cork on every wall of the box.

I received a tea set as a gift and from the packaging to the quality of the materials, everything was well. It even came with a case. Since I'm not a connoisseur in tea sets, what stood out to me was the great customer support I received from the live chat upon asking how to use every part of the tea set. Response from the live chat was almost instant and the explanations were clear and detailed. Shipping was slow but what can we expect from the COVID situation. Looking forward for more in the future!

I bought a tea set and when it arrived it was very well packed but somehow a part was damaged during the transport. I contacted the customer service by email and they promptly reply and sent the replacement. The tea set is high standard, we really like it and I think I will buy again from UmiSets.

Poor experience and be wary of reviews....

This company is wholesome, everything I've ordered has arrived well packaged and as described, the teapot was gorgeous and I quickly contacted them to buy another from the same artist. The support squad was willing to help me with Chinese-English translations and helping me find my desired craftsman, it was assuring to know they wanted me to fully understand the products and information. I will come back to Umi Tea Sets whenever I require quality teas and teaware. Thanks again for helping me find world class teapots, I anxiously await my 4th order from this great team.

I ordered a very large curio cabinet from Umi. I was nervous about ordering such a large and expensive item online from another country but it came with tracking, a phone call beforehand the day of delivery, and in excellent condition. I am very happy with my purchase and can verify this is a trustworthy website. I would absolutely order from this seller again.

I was very nervous at first as this was my first order from the site as I'm trying to get into authentic tea brewing. Being shipped from China, I was very concerned that my set would arrive broken and it was not cheap by any means. It took longer than usual thanks to the ongoing pandemic situation, but everything arrived in perfect condition. I actually had to get help unwrapping all the tape and foam. I have ordered a yixing gong fu tea set for my birthday and its the best present iv gotten in a long time! It came in pretty good time and packaging was excellent! Its a beautiful set very good for the novice to gong fu. My wife who usually hates tea will sit down and have multiple pots with me. The customer service was excellent. Thank you for everything!
