Umi Tea Sets

I came to Umiteasets because I wanted to buy some teaware. I found many things I liked and a great list of excellent products. For someone who enjoys tea this really is a great place to visit and explore. Not only do they have Tea, Tea Sets, Teapots, Tea Cups and Tea Accessories, but also a long list and wide variety as well. Chinese style teaware, Japanese style, Vintage, Modern and much more. I would also like to give them praise for their generous customer service as well. I say generous because they truly deliver. I had ordered a Tea Set from them and one part was broken in transit. Not only did I get a replacement for the broken part, but even a small gift! I don't know if sending gifts is their customary response in this situation, but their customer service is outstanding. If you happen to be interested in teaware, I would sincerely recommend that you visit Umiteasets. I have not tried their tea yet, but as far as teaware is concerned, I am one happy costumer.

I have had three orders from Umi Tea sets and they have been good. The simpler items are better. I was a little worried about ordering but I have been pleasantly surprised. The selection of gaiwans is vast. They are very good value. I wanted a slightly larger one (as an English tea drinker, we like a larger cup, so need a bigger gaiwan.) I have ordered two gaiwans and these are my go to method for brewing tea gong fu style. I love the rhythm of brewing tea this way. You cannot hurry. Great for perspective in modern times. I love my gaiwans. Shipping, sedate but reliable.

I have enjoyed drinking a variety of teas for many years and recently began developing more experience in high quality teas. As part of this progression, I researched the many methods of brewing tea and how different methods were used for different types of tea. This research brought me to the use of yixing clay tea sets to gain the most from ones tea drinking experience. My careful research brought me to Umi Tea Sets. I loved the variety of tea pots, cups, sets and accessories this merchant had to offer. Each product was carefully described, including a photograph and often a short message about the craftsman that made the item. I purchased two Yixing clay teapots on my first purchase. I had no idea the items were shipping from China, but they arrived quite quick (about two weeks) considering we were in the middle of a world wide pandemic. The items arrived extremely well packaged with lots of padding and were in perfect condition when unpacked. The two clay teapots were just as described and came with all the certificates as stated on the website. I began using them immediately one for oolong tea and the other for a lighter green tea. They are perfect and used most days to enjoy my morning or evening tea at home. They are over 6 months old and still great. I made a follow up purchase for a Yixing cup and some additional accessories. These items arrived just as quickly and had the same great quality. I would highly recommend Umi Tea Sets to truly elevate your tea drinking experience. Any of their products would make a great gift for any tea drinker that wants to feel a little special and enjoy tea in an authentic manner.

This genuine Yixing clay tea pot is amazing !! I bought it to complete my Gong Fu Cha tea set, and i adore it !! Not only is it beautiful aesthetically, but it brews tea incredibly !! I brew my Oolong tea in it and the more I use it, the shinier and more lovely it becomes. Now that I’ve been using it for Oolong tea for a while, whenever I pour hot water into it I can smell the incredible aroma of the tea. Whenever my friends come round and I make tea for them, they compliment me on this beautiful tea pot and ask me where i bought it :) I would definitely recommend it, as it is very pretty to look at, makes great tea, and is very impressive to guests !! Do yourself a favour and buy it !!

I ordered a Yixing teapot from umiteasets.com, it arrived at the mentioned time. They have good quality products. The teapot was of original clay as mentioned in the description. The product resembled the product description. I like the teapots to have small holes at the opening to prevent tea leaves from pouring out. The teapot I ordered served this purpose. I am very satisfied. My old teapot lid broke and I was not able to make tea in it properly, this is why I ordered a new teapot. It feels great to drink out of an authentic Chinese Yixing teapot.

I got a few items including a clear glass teapot, a fairness cup and a couple of these beautiful Japanese tea cups. The hand painted tea cups I found here were the exact same ones I found on another online retailer but was so much cheaper! All the items arrived together and much quicker than I expected. I was worried about getting such delicate items in the post but all the items were individually packaged and were in perfect condition when they came (I ordered from the UK). I will definitely buy from here again based on the quality and variety of the products specially. It's great for someone like me who loves all things related to tea!

Wanted to try different tea sorts and found a great variety here. So I didn't orderd dishes and equipment but got keen on many of that stuff too. After receiving a tea, in reasonable time, I got thrilled by quality of it, found no damages on carefully packed tea in recycling papers and really enjoying a tea otherwise not available in Norway. Well, not for this price and directly from China. I also addressed a costomer service and got immediate response and help I needed in super kind menner. I will definitely order more tea from them and some of the wonderful pots and cups they offer. And they offer a lot for all range of prices but for much less then European dealers. Could wish to see even more of tea sorts.

Excellent products and service! I bought gong fu tea set and it is everything i thought it would be! The tray is beautiful and the pot and cups are also beautiful. I also bought a piggy tea pet and it is soo cute my daughter loves to watch it change colors! I have yet to try the tea i ordered but they smell amazing! I cant wait to try the full experience!

I recently ordered the yixing purple clay gaiwan tea set, and I’m extremely happy with both the product and how it was sent. Shipping was pretty quick even though it came all the way from China and everything came wrapped up in styrofoam and those sheets of forms individually so they were protected well and nothing broke. Even the box was super secure. The teapot itself was gorgeous and adorable. The color of the clay was even on all the parts which is something I was looking for. The tracking wa a great too, accurate and easy to get the information from. I would definitely order from here again!!

I had a great experience with UmiTeaSets. I ordered a large yixing tea set from them. It came about as fast as you’d expect something international (a few weeks). The tea set itself seems high quality. I’ve used it every day since getting it. I’ve noticed a change in the flavor of the tea I used, which is exactly what I expect from a yixing set. I recommend this company highly. They were very communicative (even though I didn’t have any issues with my order). Order tracking was accurate and up-to-date. It took a while to figure out how to change the tracking website to English but it was overall a good experience

Just what I was looking for

I ordered the Uni Tea Set for my son and future daughter in law's wedding. It arrived within the time frame promised to me, was packed so well that irregardless of the shipping process, nothing could have broken it, and it was exactly what I ordered. I bought a Japanese tea cup, and it's gorgeous. The price was good and it's what i drink all my green tea in now! Easy to use website, quick shipping turnaround even in this 2021 post-shutdown world! I'll likely buy from them again, i have my eye on a few more items.

Bought a set of stainless steel mugs to match 2 existing ones in the cupboard only to be sent completely different mugs. After contacting them they offered to refund the cost of 1 mug as a gesture of good will however when I disnt accept this as a solution I was ghosted and left with £85 worth of mugs I dont want. I will never recommend umi tea sets to anyone I know.....awful experience.

Poor service, did not accept a return without delay and excuses, then agreed to reimburse 5.00 on a 22.00 regular postage return to China. Company does not stock in the USA. there is no recourse to problems, purchase at your own risk.

This was my first visit to Umi Tea Sets (and I'm currently looking on their site to add to my collection). Customer Service was quick to respond and answered my questions professionally. Step 1 in easing my doubts. (You know how it can be ordering from a "new" to you website...) My items arrived ahead of schedule and were so well packaged the box wouldn't have been damaged even if it was thrown on the floor! Now that's a surprising difference! And the tea cups were much more beautiful than in the photos. I wish I'd ordered more. So today I was on their website looking for more beautiful teacups to add to my collection. Overall, just an A+ experience, and I've been buying online since 2000! Hope they keep up the great product offering and service!
