Umi Tea Sets

I absolutely love my teacup I purchased from Umi Tea Sets. The size, the color, and the way it feels in my hand truly adds so much to my morning tea experience. Easily my favorite tea cup I own! I have spent quite a bit of time throughout the years searching for and purchasing tea cups. But the thing you often find is either crazy shipping costs, cups and pots that look poorly constructed, or cups and pots that just don’t look good. If I’m going to invest into a tea cup, these are things that absolutely matter. I’m not someone that has a designated tea china cabinet or some special place that only my cups go. My stuff is in the cabinet along with heavy pint glasses and dense mugs from Target, much like the majority of everyone else. Wasting your time spending money on cheap cups when they are just being thrown in the cabinet alongside these others, it’s truly a waste. Purchase something reliable and while you’re at it make sure it’s beautiful. That is the Umi Tea Sets experience! I would imagine you are probably in a similar camp as I am, with similar factors at hand, Umi’s cups and tea pots easily check all of those boxes and I know you’ll have is greater than experience as I continue to have.

thank you, umiteasets, for careful and wonderful products. its the third time I ordered - the first time I bought a teaboat and indeed was a bit afraid if all goes well. when the parcel arrived, I was highly surprised for the very careful packing and smooth process. the boat is in daily use making my day always a smile better. the third order just recently, involved an expensive teapot and after only two weeks it arrived in switzerland safely. every request and email when I was too anxious was answered immediately. When I need a gift for friends I check with Umiteasets. From what I experience, I trust, that they are committed in offering good and carefully handcrafted teawares. shipping worldwide is a challenge and I hope nobody gets disappointed by accidental damages or losses. Im happy for all who get their products for having the world in a cup of tea. unique, connected, rejoicing.

Umi teapots has been fantastic for us, been great, ordered something for chinese new year for my parents and it was so well made, so beautiful so am very grateful for it, delivery was on time, clear expectations and they were delivered safely. The price is reasonable, just a very happy customer and will be ordering more for family for special events if they love tea like my parents do.

These guys are basically thieves. I ordered and paid for express delivery on a tea set (5-8 days) and 3 weeks later I still have not received it. When I try to speak to them On live chat it simply comes up with a message to say to leave my email address as they are too busy. This happens every time once I explain what my issue is. I have tried leaving messages on their contact us page and have had no contact. These guys have stolen my money and would avoid them at all costs. THEY ARE SIMPLY THIEVES AND CAN’T BE TRUSTED AT ALL!!!!!

I bought a travel tea set from umi tea sets and absolutely love it, very high quality product! Shipping to the states did take a while, but I would say it was actually faster than some of the other tea related products I've bought from China. If you're looking for an affordable place to buy teawear, especially tea sets, this is your place!

Received my order broken, tray broken, pot dents. I send in the picture they advise to send it back , they will give me $10 shipping cost while the actual shipping cost from canada to china cost more than $500, lol. Will never order from this place again.

I bought the Chinese Boat Shaped Pottery Tea set from Umi Tea a few months back and have been extremely pleased by the quality and craftmanship of the tea set. It is absolutely beautiful and I love sharing and showing of this piece of art when I have guest come over for a war cup of tea. The built in strainer is excellent and also for easy brewing and cleaning, which is important if you like to drink tea often. I also love that the material is clay as I find it holds the flavor, and absorbs the heat allowing for the first few cups to cool down quick enough for me to enjoy. I would definitely recommend, while I was a little unfamiliar with the shipping process as it is coming from abroad, and the tracking is a bit different, I received my product after a month, the packaging was well done, and a custom fitting bag was also provided to keep the set safe from damage. I will definitely be coming back again for more sets for myself and gift sets.

I purchased an automatic teaset with a beautiful design of golden leaf at the bottom of the cups, as a gift for my husband who is very fond of chinese tea. It works really well and it is very fun to use. All the accessories are of good quality and correspond to the description on the website. We purchased a variety of teas as well and all those we tried are very fine. The product had some delivery delays due to the pandemic but we were informed regularly and the customer service was good. I recommand this store and look forward to expand our teapots collection very soon ! Cela fonctionne très bien et c'est très amusant à utiliser. Tous les accessoires sont de bonne qualité et correspondent à la description sur le site. Nous avons également acheté une variété de thés et tous ceux que nous avons essayés sont très bons. Malgré un petit peu d'attente pour la livraison en raison du COVID nous avons été tenus au courant par le service client et tout est arrivé comme prévu et en bon état. Je recommande ce magasin et j'ai hâte d'élargir notre collection de théières très bientôt !

All their merchandise is well made. They have great customer service as well. This teapot is no exception. Super cute!

cute decorative stuff, but horrible company and service, cheap, mass manf items, not hand made as promised, with fake certificate, tried to return the items, sent back as instructed but have yet to see refund, its been 4 monhts and they wont respond, should be reported to BBB. total scam

I never received my tea set. And the company is no help. I am seriously disappointed. I contacted them asking where it was, they said it was delivered. I never got it so no it was not delivered to me.

I purchased a Yixing teapot and am very happy with it. It is well-made, functional, and visually appealing, and it was delivered very quickly. The teapot was also very reasonably priced, particularly compared to others I have seen for sale on other websites. I have received several comments, compliments, and inquiries about it. I use it exclusively to brew puerh tea, and it's the perfect size to brew a single six-ounce cup. I don't expect to purchase another teapot in the near future, but I know where to turn if I need one, or if decide to give one as a gift. I ordered a wooden tea stand. With this my tea ware display feels complete. I've actually been looking for a cabinet in this style for years. It can display seven of my favorite yixing tea pots aesthetically, looks balanced and feels sturdy and good quality especially for the price. Believe me the ballance here really matters, displaying hundreds if not thousands worth of teaware you can not be too careful. I was pleasantly surprised how well it was packed as well, I bet a grown man could have slept on the parcel and there would not have been a single scratch on the product. Went on to buy myself another one. Thanks!

I bought two different tea sets from Umi and have been very impressed with the quality of both of the sets. One of them was a bone china set with birds on it, and it exceeded my expectations. The set arrived without any damages and the box that it came in was pretty enough that we still use it to store the set. The other set I bought was a pink set with a glass teapot and it is perfectly adorable. I plan to continue using Umi and have been very impressed with their quality and customer service.

I ordered a beautiful seafoam green Gongfu teacup as a gift for my teacher. There were many color options that made it difficult to choose. Each option was well-labeled, so once I made my choice the ordering process was very simple. I also ordered some Iron Goddess of Mercy tea. My teacher is a fan of this tea and raved about this particular one from Umi Tea Sets. Once the package came I realized I wanted the tea and teacup for myself! Umi Tea Sets ships from China, so I ordered the gift well in advance. The shipping was much faster than I expected despite the pandemic. On Umi Tea Sets' side of things the package is prepared and mailed off quickly. They also sent prompt email updates as the order was processed. The package was well-wrapped and arrived in perfect condition.

I bought am induction tea warmer the experience with purchacing and shipping was spectacular. The product came in a short amount of time was packaged very well and nothing was broken. The product is truly of a great quality and us an awesome product...it is made of metal and glass and is just a very nice quality...my only complaint is that the tea warmer turns off way too often like every 15 mins it has to be turned on again

I have had a truly wonderful experience with Umi Tea Sets. At the beginning of the year I was feeling pretty down and wanted something to bring some joy and mindfulness to my life. After searching around for quite some time, I came across the Japanese Tea Ceremony, Gongfu Cha in particular. It mesmerised me. So I looked around for a tea-set that would be appropriate for a beginner. I didn’t have much luck until I discovered Umi Tea Sets. They had so many different options to chose from, all the way from very simple sets to extremely elaborate and intricate ones. The range in prices is excellent too. Hopefully one day I’ll have the honour of owning one of the larger expensive sets. For now, my heart belongs to the one I purchased. It’s beautiful and teal blue (my favourite colour). The set includes, six cups, a gaiwan, tea strainer and stand, teapot and a fair cup. It arrived so well protected that it took me ages to actually get into it =) The only negative was the gaiwan was missing so I wrote to them and they got back to me straight away. They were very apologetic and swiftly sent me the missing item along with a complementary teapet. And by the way, they’re range of teapets is incredible. I’m completely over the moon with my purchase and will definitely be ordering from them in the near future. Xxx

My teapot was so beautiful that I had to buy a second for my mom for Mother's day last year. She loved it so much she bought herself a matching cup! The teapot makes about one large cup of tea or two small cups – just enough to share. The design appears hand painted and is very beautiful. The customer service is also super responsive. When we had an issue with the shipping they resolved it quickly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a unique gift for a hard to buy for person in your life. Guaranteed to be a hit!
