I bought few items Umi Tea Sets were offering few months ago and got it really on time that was announced. In my order were Purple Clay Round Tea Cup With Infuser, Chinese Calligraphy Purple Clay Tea Cup, Yixing Purple Clay Dragon Tea Cup With Infuser and my new tea pets - a Set Of Two Color Changeable Swan Tea Pet. Since that moment they became the irreplaceable everyday items in my tea moments. I’m using it for brewing Pu-erh teas of different kinds. Beautifully shaped teacups are the indispensable items for a tea collection specialy in brewing teas like Oolong or Pu-erh. The qualities and the taste of tea is improving daily and in my belief this is directly linked to the purple clay (ZiSha), found only in the Yixing, Jiangsu province of China, from which those teacups are crafted. It os obvious that the highly skilled craftspeople create it. It fits in a hand perfectly allowing a person who is brewing the tea a great pleasure in enjoying the looks of a teacup as well as the exquisite tast of the tea brewed in the Yixing Purple Clay. The teacups are excellently crafted and furthermore one can’t be burned while using them - the handle is so well placed and the lid fits perfectly. And we have to know the Yixing tea pot or tea cup is considered as the best possible way to steep tea specially Pu-erh teas or Oolong teas. As the time goes by, by using my Yixing Purple Clay tea cups my tea brewed in them creates a very special aroma and the same tea as before it now tastes much much better. It os because Yixing Purple Clay has a unique adsorption-It is continuing to absorb tea aroma when tea cup is used, and after a long time, it creates the unique aroma. Therefore, the tea cup only can make the same type of tea to avoid flavor mixing, which affects its taste. Second: The more nourished, the more spiritual: For many appliances, the more you use, the older they are, but the more you use, the Yixing Purple Clay Tea cups the better it is. The tea cups’ body becomes more and more shiny, smooth, beautiful and mild after frequent cleaning it by warm water. I’m using them for Pu-erh and Oolong as I say before so for hot and warm but as far as I know they also can be used with cold water. Therefore Yixing Purple Clay tea cups are proved to resists hot and cold temperature: its sandy and it transfers heat slow, so it has a good stability of hot and cold, and as far as I know even if burned directly on the stove, it will not be split. Don't buy from this place.Chinese scam company. Ordered $3500 table set and 2 months later received a half spray painted table set without legs. Refused for refunds and told me they will send a new but never arrived. Now I have a pile of trash in the garage.

I purchased a tea tray “Chinese Bamboo Kung Fu Tea Tray”in October 2024, beautiful color and strong plastic base. The bamboo that sits atop is elegant, but I would certainly recommend drying it in between uses as it is fairly thin and may warp if left wet. It fits a large teapot with a cha hai aka gong dao bei as well as several cups and tea pets- very spacious. The blue plastic base is an appealing color. It has an attachment for a hose to drain the water into a bucket but I have yet to use it, I simply dump the liquid after each session. It holds plenty of water so you could have multiple different teapots of tea going in one session without overflowing however I don’t like to let it get too full or I might spill when going to dump the liquid after each use. It is very easy to clean as well. Sturdy and durable, I am quite happy with my purchase of this particular item “Chinese Bamboo Kung Fu Tea Tray” and I have used it nearly every day since purchase; probably 250 uses to date. I also loved the fact that it shipped free to me!

Amazing brand, website, and customer service! I found them accidentally, bought a tea set and an organizer as a present. It came well packaged and everything was well, however a lid to the tea pot was broken. I emailed their customer service, expecting to wait a long reply or no reply at all as it was the holidays. However, the same day they replied and set me a new lid with expedited delivery; it came very fast in perfect condition. Amazing customer service and let me say the quality of the tea set is superb. But the story doesn't stop there. Unfortunately, months later, I dropped a piece of the tea set and the edge broke. I emailed them again asking if I can purchase just one piece, they emailed me back the same day saying no money was needed they will ship it out for free the same day and asking if the address was the same. Once again, such a wonderful interaction with them and leaves me speechless. I hope that everyone will order from them and see the quality of their products and their amazing service. I will be ordering soon and more from them!

I recently got the Blue And White Ruyao Gongfu Tea Set from Umi teas for my birthday, and it came in a big pretty carrying case with a handle. It was just as stunning as in the picture, and it came with every single Gongfu tool you could ever need. The only suggestion I could make is for the scoop to be a bit bigger for some larger leaf teas. Now for the impressive part. When it arrived, it was delivered upside down, and the large bowl from the set had shattered. Every other piece was perfectly fine, luckily. It was most likely an issue with the delivery service. I quickly took a photo of everything and another of just the broken bowl and sent it to the service department email with an explanation of what happened and my order number, and they were very nice about sending me a replacement bowl. I did not need to screenshot receipts or my front door or send anything back, I just gave them enough information to help me, and they obliged promptly. I just received my bowl today, and I am very happy to see the whole set reunited with no fuss! I would definitly recommend this company.
