Abortive start (one month lost) but a rather slow conversation with the Truffle Magic people has now produced perfect results. Some observations then for people using the McKennaii strain. 1. Pour water in to cold shock from the start (not just for the subsequent flushes) and drain after 12 hours. 2. You can now fold the bag over close to the surface of the kit (with the holes facing up) and no misting should be needed. 2. Place it in a dark place, like under a bed. 3. If condensation does not appear on the surface of the bag after a day or so, then mist as needed. 4. If using a heat mat, place it underneath a towel around 3cm thick. Direct contact will dry the kit out. 5. When the mushrooms start to grow, create more room in the bag environment (standing it up) but keep it closed. 6. Pick just before the veils begin to break with a twist and pull movement.

I had a little trouble with my first order but I think that was because of the postal service, I contacted truffle magic and they resent it for free and I got it in 5 days. I ordered 45g of the hollandia and ate them all at once and had the most extreme trip ever, I couldn't even get off the ground. I'd recommend buying from these guys their truffles are awesome.

Truffles eventually arrived for me after 2 and half months.... truffle magic tried shipping 3 times and third was a charm as received customs letters for previous 2.... Peter fully refunded me my money also and after some friction they have actually delivered a good standard overall..... Hollandia truffles were hit and miss though; felt some mild perception changes but not good enough quality in the potency I’m afraid..... are 57g in total (three boxes) and didn’t achieve the level I wanted.....

Thanks for sending me the truffles out of your pocket after the first disappointing trip which didn’t work, unfortunately the second try didn’t work either, it seems like l’m immune to it. I’m very happy with the help you have given to me. Thank you so much

These guys are the best, I ordered Tampanensis which for whatever reason didn't arrive (stolen?, customs?, who knows?) the guys at Truffle Magic sent me a replacement by recorded delivery which arrived nicely, excellent customer service and I had a very pleasant trip, I think I will order Utopia next but I will go for the recorded delivery option this time. Check my name. I do not want to waste anymore time on this and this is simplly a courtsey. This is not a scam company. This is a company that is really trying their best. It wasn't good enough for me but the update is they finally did refund me. For what its worth, that is enough to warrent a 3 star review, because they are trying. They have a lot of kinks to work out and it took a lot to get a refund but they finally did it. The refund took some time because its a small company and since they are revamping that is why it took a minute. In my heart, I know they are trying their best. They are not bad people but they are just trying their best to make something of this. With that said, there are ample sites to direct scorn and hatred. Truffle magic is not one of them. I wish them well and hope they will tighten their ship because the heart is in the right place, they just need more work. Thank you Peter and staff for the refund.
