As a frequent traveler I am frequently out of the country, the insurance covers my activities and I feel I can rest peacefully knowing that I am covered, in the past two years I have travelling I haven't had to claim, but have had plenty of questions which the customer service is fantastic. The real bonus is the easy of the web site, I have been due to board the plane and whoops no insurance, very last minuite as the flight as so been, the process to get insurance it is that quick, so so happy. We enjoyed a cruise to Scandinavia/the Baltic and it was both historically informative as well as a lot of fun. As usual, my husband and I took out travel insurance with TID. As we fortunately, have never had to make a claim we have used them a number of times recently as they are most professional to deal with and we leave home with confidence.

No fuss, easy to arrange, value for money. No claims made.

I was in Bali when the volcano erupted and I found out at the airport that all flights to Australia had been cancelled. My policy was expiring that night so I went online to extend it and found as I had signed up as a guest I needed to register. I did this and was to be sent a password to my email...it's now 2 days since then and still no email . However I have received the auto generated email asking me how my experience was . Thank goodness all is well and I got home safely the following day. I would have called to extend but it was outside office hours as it was Saturday afternoon . This is my only negative comment as thank goodness I've not had any claims and always take out TID every trip. There just might be room for improvement with an issue like extending outside hours .

The reverse call numbers for America dont' work on T Mobile and email took 2 days to get a reply. It was a relatively minor issue so no harm only inconvenience but could have been stressful if it was serious.

I was very pleased with TID. After attempting to obtain travel insurance with my usual health insurer (unable to do so due to pre-existing medical condition), I was referred to TID by a friend. The service and insurance provided was second to none and I will be using TID without hesitation on my next OS travel.

Have been lucky enough than all our trips have been incident free, and thus no need to make a claim.

Excellent travel insurance product. Have used TID three times. Unfortunately had my wallet and documents stolen in Europe a few years back and had an quick full response to my claim. Highly recommend TID.

Have used TID many times. Had my daughter covered by them last year and she required surgery in the US. By the time I had emailed them information. TID had already been in contact with the hospital and the procedure went ahead. Followed up with a call to my daughter later on her trip to check her progress. Couldn't fault them. About to take out another policy with them again. 10/10

I bought some travel Insurance from TID and from start to finish the service was great. I did research on their website to begin with which was super easy to use and then downloaded the app which is amazing. Once you have bought your policy you get hints and tips for the country you are visiting which came in handy when I was there. 10/10 TID!

A friend got me on to travel Insurance Direct. I was a little hesitant at first but my friend informed me that he has never had a problem and found the company great. As I was only going on a short trip I decided to use TID. I found the personal touch of an email before I left with travel tips and welcome home very thoughtful ( I had not had this kind of service before). Also it was so much cheaper and with the money saved I had more money to shop with and do other things.

The best insurance company I have ever had to deal with, recent trip to Bali uneventful, lost sunglass claim handled quickly and efficiently. I will be using this company again, and recommend to my friends.

My second time around with TID and again it was as easy as ABC and then I had to extend my trip and change my policy...no problem again. Will continue to use TDI, my first recommendation coming from a valued friend!

This policy was purchased after I left Australia because I forgot to purchase it beforehand. No problems at all and I was very happy with level of cover. Didn't have to wait for the policy to be valid like some other companies making you wait 48 to 72 hrs. Very happy indeed.

Fortunately, on this latest 7 week trip accross Europe and the UK, nothing happened that required an insurance claim! However, on a previous trip to South Africa, I needed to claim for a smashed windscreen on the rental car, which was approved and paid with minimal fuss. From that experience with TID, I felt pretty comfortable going with TID again.

Awesome service with a no fuss approach. We've used TID multiple times now and we'll continue to do so. We've only ever had to claim once (those pesky pickpockets in Rome took my iPhone darn it!) and the process was quick and easy. Highly recommend this service - fast, efficient and cost effective!
