Laura and Leanne were both professional and friendly with any interaction we had. Although we had some issues with the sale of our property it was more to do with the solicitors than the estate agent and Laura did all she could to keep us informed of what was happening.
Ryder and Dutton were proactive in selling the property. From the moment we started working with them, the viewings began. We were kept informed at all stages from the entire team and they made the whole process as straightforward as possible.
We had a really good experience with Ryder and Dutton estate. Kia has looked after us in the best possible way, always ready to answer every question! We have managed to proceed fast with our purchase also thanks to her.
Once my house sold ( it took a year) the contact from Michaela was good. Up until then, I’m afraid to say that it wasn’t. There was no communication about what we could do to improve viewings for 7 months and I had to practically beg them to do a premium property listing on rightmove Sadly, Ryder and Dutton are no better or worse than the other estate agents in our area

Jessica Williamson, a Profound & dedicated sales negotiator. Jessica Williamson was our brilliant sales negotiator; she was very informative, very patient - kept us informed by email and phone calls. She was easily approachable throughout the sales process. Prior to Jessica taking over the sales of our property, we had 2 previous time-wasting buyers who pulled out, but when Jess took over the negotiation, the process was swift as gracious Jess swiftly coordinated the offers and provided helpful advice in selecting the most favourable buyer for our property which completed on 04/03/2025. Good customer care I have ever received. In fact Ryder & Dutton are 2nd to none. From valuation to sale of our bungalow the sales team coordinated well and dealt with promptly with any queries I had, in person, over the phone and by email. They kept me updated throughout the process. I would definitely recommend this firm.
I have helped my mum sell and buy a new home with help at Rawtenstall’s Ryder & Dutton over the past 18 months. Although this process has taken longer than we wanted due to mum breaking her hip on holiday so her house had to be taken of the market for a year, Graham and his team have kept the lines of communication open, even just checking in that mum was ok. Mum has sold her home and has now had an offer accepted, finding a new home for mum has been somewhat a testing period however all the team we dealt with, from booking the viewings, to being shown round have been understanding and accommodating to our needs (I have had to reschedule do to child care and work commitments). Compared to other estate agents we viewed with, team Ryder & Dutton (mainly Susan, Matt, Jamie and Adam) were professional and friendly with the right sense of humour, which I needed. This was only our second time renting a property, so as you can imagine I had lots of questions and needed to be guided through the renting process step by step. Sam really helped me with everything we needed and anytime I needed her she was at the other end of the phone and also responded to our long emails very quickly. We felt fully supported by Sam and we feel very reassured that she will be there if we need her. Main contact was Geraldine Marsden. As a first time house buyer I have found the process to completion to be smooth with all interactions with both the branch (Ashton under Lyne) and then with the Move Manager (Geraldine Marsden) professional and timely. Geraldine has maintained contact with me through the process via phone and email plus liaised with both mine and the vendors solicitors meaning that I never had to chase for information. I would certainly use Ryder and Dutton again in the future.
