Richard Kendall Estate Agent is exceptionally well-rated by customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about communication and customer service.
Went to view a property on Wednesday 9th July. I waited 15 before ringing to see if anyone was turning up to show me round, no one did. I then rang the office and they said they had no recollection of my booking. I said I had a confirmation email. They said “well it must have been moved, did you not get told?”. IF I WAS TOLD I WOULD’NT HAVE TURNED UP WOULD I? I won’t be using Richard Kendall again. This is the second time this has happened now.
Mandy Bennett at the Ossett branch of Richard Kendall was, without doubt, the best Estate Agent if have ever dealt with! She went the extra mile on everything she did & whatever I asked it was dealt with without a problem. I've never had an Estate Agent like it, had some absolute nightmares in the past. I made a massive mistake in appointing W H Brown in Wakefield originally to sell my late Mum's property. They overpriced it, gave us poor information on how to set it up to sell, due to this we had very few viewings & very poor liason. The worst bit was recommending the incompetent solicitors, Gilson Gray in Lincoln, who were a nightmare. I got rid of W H Brown at the first opportunity & listed with Richard Kendall. The difference was night & day! Mandy dealt with absolutely everything brilliantly. She dealt with both sets of solicitors which was a thankless task. We completed yesterday & it would have still been on going if it wasn't for Mandy. To summarise, if you're listing a property in that area just use Richard Kendall, avoid W H Brown & never ever use Gilson Gray solicitors. Thank you Mandy, you've restored my faith in Estate Agents, well one anyway! Absolute star!!
As we have an existing relationship with Richard Kendall they were an obvious choice for the sale of our family home. With branches across the 5 towns they are a perfect choice for the region, with wonderful staff offering a personal, passionate service whilst remaining highly professional and efficient. Karen was our negotiator in Wakefield and worked so hard over a 12 month period! She kept the chain connected through a complex process with various issues, keeping related parties updated along the way. So happy in our new home and the pain was worth it - honestly Karen 😃. You're welcome to visit anytime to see what it was all about and that's not something you'll hear said to an estate agent very often - speaks volumes 🥰. Thank you.

I have been with Richard Kendall for a number of years. The customer service is first class, I have never had an issue. My recent re-rental was very fast and very smooth, taking feedback of requirements and suggestions from Richard Kendalls. The communication from Jess through the process was also exceptional.

I went to Richard Kendall via a personal recommendation. I wanted a traditional estate agent with reliable staff. I initially dealt with Carol and subsequently Jessica. Both staff members have been efficient, businesslike and helpful. I highly recommend.
I thoroughly recommend both Richard Kendall as an agent and Jessica Judd in particular. They let a property for us that has only a small market value, translating therefore into only very modest fees for Richard Kendall. But they have been marvellous, at every step of the way – from finding a first tenant and securing a tenancy at a gross yield that exceeds 6% per annum, to sorting out odd jobs that we could not finish before the tenancy due to our remote geographic status and also addressing repairs promptly. There are no hidden fees or elevated costs for preferred tradespeople, either. Jessica in particular is massively on top of her game and I cannot recommend her highly enough. If only all estate and letting agents were this reliable and honest! If they had a country-wide presence I would use them every time.
