What a fantastic piece of kit. Food was delivered on time, food was fresh and made for a really good date night. I know exactly where to go when I’m feeling hungry...

I’ve been using restaurant kits for a year now and I’m loving the new kits added every month. My favourite has definitely been Mac & Wild’s Venimoo kit - the best burger I’ve had at home by a long shot!

We loved our experience of Restaurant Kits. Our box of Mac and Wild really hit the spot! Great service.

We had a few hiccups with delivery - being in the North East of Scotland it had proved a bit difficult to get the delivery up to us within the selected time frame however Gillian and Kirsty were exceptionally kind and helpful at following it up, chasing up DPD and getting a new order sent out. The issues we had wouldn't put me off ordering from Restaurant Kits again. Thanks guys!

I ordered the Ramsey Wellington kit and it was seriously good for a special evening. Previously I’ve found making the mushroom duxelle pretty hard, but Ramsey to the rescue meant no soggy pastry for my welly.

I have been a total cynic for meal kits I must confess. But when my favourite restaurant had their signature Berber & Q Cauliflower dish available via Restaurant Kits over lockdown - well it had to be. And oh boy did they deliver (excuse the pun). Simple, efficient, great value and tasted just like it does under the arches in the restaurant. An absolute winner - thank you so much Restaurant Kits!

Very poor customer service. Delivery date missed twice and only received kit after many e-mails. Much poorer quality and more expensive than the original restaurant sourced meal kit for the same meal.

I don't normally write reviews but after my evening using Restaurant Kits, I felt I had to share my incredible experience. I ordered the ‘Ribinator’ and it was tremendous! I am normally awful at cooking but the instructions were easy to follow and it tasted delicious. To anyone unsure whether or not to buy one, definitely do! I can’t recommend Restaurant Kits enough and thank you for such a great service. Looking forward to ordering from you guys again soon.

The burgers were excellent. That’s the most important question to be answered here. And I am not inexperienced on the subject either: I have lived in several parts of the United States of America and went to great lengths to find the best examples of a fine hamburger. Diner, gourmet, dive, fire-grilled, charcoal, bison, venison, turkey, fast food chain, smash, etc etc etc. I even worked at a chain flipping burgers back in my youthful days. I can say with confidence - eat these burgers. My only negative feedback and the only reason for a missing star is that the kit came with an absurdly small amount of the red John sauce. Like less than a tablespoon for 4 burgers. So I urge Mac and Wild to take notice of the quality control. It’s an expensive burger and the sauce is important. Many thanks!

Absolutely fantastic! I can’t cook to save my life, but the instructions were so easy to follow. I tried the calcotada kit - absolutely delicious and it was vegan!

I have had several kits and the quality is always excellent. I love the variety - and we get a restaurant quality meal for a bargain price with minimal cooking.

I’ve had multiple kits now and they’re all delicious!

I ordered a few times and each time it did not turn up and I ended up getting a refund. It’s a pity as we are huge fans of Mac and Wild and wanted to support them through the lockdowns, but it just wasn’t a very smooth process and I wouldn’t risk it again.

I have ordered so many RK’s over the last year including the Venimoo burger, park belly bao buns and most recently the chicken pie. It is such a treat to cook quality food at home and it taste restaurant quality. I have noticed them incorporate more environmentally friendly packaging recently and was particularly impressed with the packaging for the chicken pie that even had a QR code which linked to a cool along!

I ordered a Mac & Wild venimoo burger from Restaurant Kits. I was surprised at how well packaged the kit was, first and foremost... but the taste was second to none. It was my first DIY restaurant kit I had purchased, and actually really enjoyed the experience although thinking I'm a bit of a chef! Would recommend them, and glad to see there a few more restaurants popping up now on the platform.

Such a great idea. Really made a difference to our lockdown, had some great ‘date nights’ while stuck at home. To top it off, the food tastes great, even with us cooking it!

I initially reviewed with 1 star as I had a terrible experience with RK over Christmas. They responded to my review straight away and I sent the email thread with the initial issue for more context. The issue was addressed by a fantastic new team, all really helpful and went out of their way to try and restore my faith in RK, and I can honestly say they’ve succeeded! Amazing service, great food and a helpful and responsive team- what more can you ask for when ordering a treat like this to make lockdown life a little better with a slice of normality. Anyone who’s had poor experience with RK in the past- give them another go! The team has changed hands so you can enjoy your fave restaurant foods at home with none of the stress (apart from washing up 😆) Thanks restaurant kits - looking forward to ordering again!
