If I could give no stars I would

If I could give no stars I would. Both of my daughters used the Milton Keynes branch (different times) and had terrible experiences! The first one as, with the second, the hairdresser did not listen to what either of them wanted. They both wanted trims, and both were left in tears because of the awful job that their "hairdressers" had done, they had literally hacked into her hair, it was all uneven and the front was lopsided! My older daughter did complain, and the attitude of the manager was disgusting. They dismissed her complaint about what had been done to her hair and said that "there's nothing we can do". My second daughter who has very long hair went in asking for one inch off the back and blended at the front. They took four inches from the back and layered the front of it. Upon me calling the salon, (as soon as she left she called me, she was too upset to say anything) The manager began arguing with me on the phone. Never ever would I recommend anyone going there.

Melissa @ Holmes chapel is amazing!

I have been to Melissa at the Holmes chapel salon for 3 times now, 2 cuts and 2 colours, the first visit was a cut and allergy test for a colour. It has to be said that my hair is constantly improving and in much better condition, I had experienced a couple of unprofessional hairdresser's that didn't use toner?? One advised me to straighten my hair daily?? Knowing my hair was damaged, but thanks to the professional services and advice as to which products would be beneficial for me and how to care for my hair from Melissa, it's now a distant memory! Well worth the money, nice relaxing atmosphere, the other ladies are lovely and friendly too. I highly recommend.

I had my hair appointment with Alex at Regis Warrington yesterday. As usual I had a great experience and was happy with my style and colour. Alex always makes me smile with his banter and he puts all clients at ease. I will be back!

Ordered ghd hair straightener worth 200 gbp. Was hesitant at first due to low trustpilot rating. Everything went just great, delivery service via dpd. Fast, smooth, no hustle transaction. Will use again for sure.

I just walked into the saloon tho get my haircut in Kingston to find out the there was not enough staff due to sickness. However I did not get a call on order to cancel and rebook my appointment. I had taken time off from work on order to attend to the salon. When I ask about who can I speak to the lady says that the manager is on holidays and that she cannot facilitate any telephone number. Completely disappointed with the poor service.

Discrimination

So I went into Regis hairdresser salon in the meadows, Chelmsford, to enquire about apprentice position, I met a lady called Ivana with an accent, the minute I said I was there to ask about apprentice position, I wasn't allowed to finish what I was saying, her reply was, oh, it not for someone like you, I let her finish, then I said someone like me, she replied your age, funny, I haven't even had a chance to introduce myself talk less my age, I then asked what age, she said junior apprentice ages 16-18yrs old, I smiled. The reason for my smile was how she approached me, by now you know am coloured and she must be eastern European. Her approach was just too obvious, there was no way she could take back her action. I just politely said thanks, before she digs herself forward. My question is this thing called racism, is it necessary, where does humanity stand. Black/ white/ yellow/ red, makes no difference to me, your person matters more, perhaps if we get to understand what being human is, and stop judging by the colour of one's skin, maybe then the world would be better. I live in Chelmsford.

I have had to find a new hairdresser as my old one has moved away. It’s always a stressful experience as you will most likely have to get a bad haircut or two before you find the right one. Well, lucky for me it was only the one bad haircut and then I decided to goto Regis in Cribbs Causeway. I was booked with Leena and she was absolutely amazing. Listened to what I wanted but also gave me advice on what would look good and also advise on how to minimise the damage to my hair. I’m absolutely over the moon with the result and the price was so affordable. I will definitely be back. Thank you so much Leena!

“Simply The Best Beauty Salon In Birmingham”!

Having used Regis ( now Beauty By Regis) salons for many years they very much deserve this long overdue brilliant review. ‘Danielle’ in (Beauty By Regis) in Birminghams, Great Western Arcade, is undoubtedly the most positive individual on planet earth, one of those rare souls who wraps you up in the warmest welcome, and makes you believe the world truly is a beautiful place. All this while being super skilled, warm, kind and accommodating of all your needs and requests, with the sunniest disposition! Please ensure this lady receives the recognition she deserves for being an amazing ambassador for Regis, and the best example of humankind! Every company needs a Danielle in their team! Many thanks for always making my visit such a joy !

My third time at Cribbs Causeway Regis

My third time at Cribbs Causeway Regis. Different stylist each time, and all 3 have without fail have helped me after a bad haircut 9 months ago - walk out feeling so human again. Website can be fussy to book with on mobile site, but online or even just calling up - super friendly and efficient to speak with.

I booked my appointment there twice

I booked my appointment there twice. First time full head of highlights, price from a pricelist £86. I was VEry happy with the colour, went to pay….£141 Which is additional £55 unolanned. When i asked the lady she told me: toner is extra, conditioner extra etc… i was happy with the result so i paid. Second time i booked an appointment i asked about a price - £62. I explained over the phone i only want half head of highlights , No extra costs. Went for an appointment, lady said I NEED A TONER but it will be included in price. Then although i asked for a rough dry she said it is included in price - so might also do a blow dry for me. I went to the reception to pay….£112. It’s almost a double price. Hair doesn’t look great. Highlights are yellow, not even close to the scalp. Sides look almost untouched. £112 wasted. Using bleach at home on top would have same effect but £100 cheaper! I will Never again visit this place. Overpriced and the lady who is a manager there is very unpleasant. There’s so many hair salons in Croydon please avoid Regis in Whitgift Centre

Horrified by my experience at Vidal…

Horrified by my experience at Vidal Sassoon Covent Garden and furthermore to finding out that Vidal Sassoon has been taken over by Regis. Really ‘am I bovered’ staff - when they left me with a wonky haircut and colour. They agreed to rectify it but when I asked for a refund cause of Covid I was told to leave the salon. I’m so upset. And I spent nearly £400 in there. Never again.

Over priced!

I’m giving Regis overall 1 star as I think they are totally over priced salons and I can’t believe I’ve just had to pay a deposit of £29.50 to book an appointment online. Paying £10 during covid was bad enough but it’s disgraceful as a regular customer I’ve had to pay £29.50. However my stylist is great and I go back because of him, not Regis as a company.
