I first went into Regis

I first went into Regis, Croydon, back in Jan for a blonde balayage. I had a lovely lady called Nora who was amazing. Id never had it before an i loved it. So I then went back for touch ups an roots 6 months later, it lasted that long. I was told Nora had left but they had some 'amazing' colourists who could help. I explained I just wanted the roots done. The receptionist/'hairdresser' (not the one doing my hair) advised more blonde so there 'wasn't a line'. I happily agreed. I agreed on the exact same colours as before. It was horrendous!!! I said I wasn't happy with the colour, which was very dark/green/grey in parts, I've no clue how she did that. The cut wasn't what I asked for an a bit wonky, but the style (curles) were lovely. I was told it was a 'lovely' colour an what I asked for, by the receptionist/,'hair dresser' i had orignally spoken too. I then basically got told it was my fault as I had agreed an they had explained. Which wasn't true at all. She did eventually say if i wasnt happy to come back another day an they would redo it. By this point it was such a sh1t show i had lost all faith in Regis. I had to spend £300 by another Salon who couldn't figure out what on earth they had put on my hair. An it definitely was not balayage! 100% agreed it looked horrendous. She (new hairdresser from a different salon) said not only has she had to do many a cover up from them, before I had even said Regis she knew. She said normally she wouldn't re-dye hair so soon as it is really bad for your hair but it looked so bad she felt like she had no other choice. I don't blame the hairdresser at Regis, Croydon that did the job directly as she may have been very new an was being directed by this other 'hairdresser'. But what made it so much worse is I was blamed for it being so bad. As I had 'agreed' I hadn't, I told them what I wanted and agreed to use the same colours as before, but I've no clue what she did. I left in tears. I am so beyond grateful to the salon that was able to fix it. I won't name names but it was a massive job and I was scared she wouldn't be able to fix it. I will NEVER use them again. Not just a awful job but the customer service from management was shocking!

An absolutely fantastic experience,

Our extremely skilled stylist, Monica, was remarkable when it came to cutting my hair. She ensured we were satisfied with the cut and gave us exactly what we were looking for. Her knowledge in men’s styling was incredible and helped us choose the right cut for us. I would highly recommend coming to Regis if you are someone who truly cares about their hair and are looking for an exceptional experience.

Booked and paid online then I had to pay extra at the salon. Beware.

First time visiting Regis Cribbs Causway Bristol I was in the area for an event. Booked and paid upfront for a wash and blow dry online. Arrived for the appointment the next morning. Blow dry was good and the stylist was really nice. However, when I came to leave I had to pay more money. There was whispering between the stylist and maybe the manager while I was having my blow dry maybe they were discussing my extra charge who knows. Think it was £40 in total rather than the £27 I had paid online as my hair was longer. It did not say anything online about this anywhere when I booked and paid upfront. Left a bad taste.

Absolutely over the moon!

I had a restyle appointment at Regis in Merry Hill today, with the lovely Amy 🥰 had the most amazing experience, I felt very comfortable and at home, I was welcomed and looked after, with fab cups of tea 😊 and a good old bit of banter. Amy is very friendly, down to earth, felt like I'd known her for years, she went above and beyond to make me feel relaxed and at ease. Haven't been to the hairdresser in a few good years so was a tad nervous. No need though, as it was all fantastic! Im in love with my new style, the colour, the cut, im feeling beautiful. Thank you Amy, you really have made my entire year ❤️ your an asset to Regis and the hairdressing world, we so need more like you. 10/10 would highly recommend and will be going back again soon. Happy customer 👌

Regis chester

Lyn from Regis In chester took the time to talk through what colour I was looking for and explained what she was going to do from start to finish what a fantastic experience thank you .For anyone who may be looking to have a grey blending I can't recommend this hair salon enough.

Great experience

Croydon. First time visiting the salon and am really pleased. I had a whole head of highlights, a treatment and cut and finish done by Shirley. She really looked after me, gave great advice and took a lot of time and care when doing my hair. Will definitely be going back to her in the future.

Epsom Store First visit not again

Epsom Store First visit not again . Asked to sit on a chair not cleaned of previous hair was cleaned when I pointed it out , gown damp and had stains , water cold not asked if ok when being washed .Prices confusing . Detailed Short cut blow dry £37.00 Short Cut blow dry £56.00 . what is the difference makes no sense .I told them what I wanted and came to pay to find it was the £56.00 , I asked why got told because it washed ? both prices have a blow dry ? . Rather misleading no help when I questioned them. Epsom store

Underwhelming expensive service

Underwhelming expensive service , half head foils (bleach not tint) toner which apparently is the paid for additional conditioning treatment, only applied if you pay the extra 20 quid, so a standard foils wouldn't include toner which is a first for me having had hair coloured for 30 odd years , raised it via email a very short response tells me they are not remotely interested in keeping client s, just won't go back and couldn't in good conscious recommend them

Highly recommend Birmingham hair salon

Skye was my hairdressers today and this was my 1st visit to this salon in Birmingham. She done everything I ask of her and would highly recommend her and this salon,very friendly,professional,excellent customer service is will definitely be back thank you Skye I felt fabulous leaving the hair salon today

Bleached my hair too much

She bleached my hair too much and no tonner. My highlights literally look like I have white hair and makes me look older. Also, the semi permanent colour she put underneath, made my underneath hair even darker, not to mention that the colour was everywhere on my ears and neck If I this this was the result, I wouldn’t have come to this salon . Literally washed my hair as soon as I arrived home. Now I need to find someone capable of doing mu hair. Total waist of time and money. My hair feels really dried. Avoid Reggis salon in Braehead 👎👎👎👎

Very disappointing experience!!!

Today was my first and last time visiting this hair salon Regis! Horrible experience, zero customer service. I have shown a photo of what I wanted and the lady Shirley said “I will make it beautiful for you “ well it was anything but beautiful… totally wrong hairstyle not what I asked for I had to question everything she did as I could see she is doing something else not what I asked. And the worst part is highlights, I wanted blonde almost white thick strings so it’s visible what I got it’s orange/ brown thin highlights! I just hated it so much I nearly burst into tears from disappointment. When I said to her I didn’t like it and I was disappointed and not happy she just ignored me and everything I said just presented me bill of £150 ! No apology no compensation or good will gesture …Nothing ! Horrible experience and now I have to pay another £150 elsewhere to fix what she messed up.

Have been going to this salon for a few…

Have been going to this salon for a few years with no problems and have always been happy with results whoever has styled my hair. However I must say that my last 2 appts have been very disappointing. I was kept waiting for about 1 hour even though I had booked in advance .The stylist did keep apologising but that's not the point but I was willing to overlook that episode as my hair turned out fantastic despite the wait .Went back recently ,I had booked an appt with a certain stylist only to be told when I got there that he was not doing my hair that day ,someone else was !!No explanation as to why ??I can only guess he had been overbooked. He was working on someone else's hair and didn't even come over and apologise .What's the point in booking with a certain stylist just to be told when you arrive that it won't be them actually doing your hair .I have no complaint with the end result my hair looked great but just felt very upset to be treated like that .Dont feel like going there again .

Megan birkenhead salon

The outcome was exactly what I wanted.

Today I had the pleasure of getting my hair cutted by Rugova (Croydon Regis) and I couldn't be happier with the results! The team made me feel incredibly welcome and comfortable. The outcome was exactly what I wanted. My hair turned out smooth, bright. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with my experience with Rugova and her colleague. They are very professional, skilled and dedicated. Thank you so much.

Absolutely devastating

Absolutely devastating. I had long hair which became tangled cos I had cancer treatment. Went to the salon in Fenwicks Canterbury. They decided they couldn't disentangle it. So cut the whole lot off. I was so disentoriated so went along with it. Awful. As if you don't feel bad enough when you're ill. The lack of regard for my feelings when they made me feel as though I was being a nuisance still upsets me now.

Balayage

I recently had the pleasure of getting my hair colored by James (Putney Regis) using the balayage technique, and I couldn't be happier with the results! James made me feel incredibly welcome and comfortable. I travelled all the way from South Harrow to Putney because of the 5* reviews he has and I am happy I did. He gave me great advice on my hair condition and covering my grey hair, and the outcome was exactly what I wanted. My hair turned out smooth, bright, and beautifully colored, with the grey hair expertly covered. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with my experience with James. He is professional, skilled and dedicated. Thank you so much, James, for exceeding my expectations. I will definitely be recommending you to others. Andra M

Just had the deluxe wash and blow by Alex at Regis Warrington. It was amazing and the new GHD straighteners. Are fantastic. Alex is brilliant 😀😀

Worst customer experience! Don’t waste your money or time

Had a terrible experience here today! Do not waste your money coming here . I came around 7 mins late to my appointment and then went to the bathroom. My appointment was at 1pm and did not get seen to till around 1.25 …when the receptionist washed my hair ! Sat and waited in wet hair (washed by the receptionist!)for a further 10ish mins . I did not get seen by the actual stylist I booked in with till 1.45( he was running late with his previous client till then and did not acknowledge me or apologise,) when I brought this up to him he yelled very aggressively , standing over me stating I came 20 mins late so it’s my fault?! … yet he was still working on his previous clients hair nearly an hour after I arrived ! He was clearly running late and refused to admit this, blamed me for HIS punctuality and rushed my hair . No apologies from him . Terrible customer service and the hairstylists are more like trainees.
