Richard - ID 5009 turned up to within a few seconds of the expected time given by the app. He got straight to work and identified the problem. Very professional and informative. He did not carry the battery i needed, but he got the vehicle started so i could drive to local garage.

My husband was Left for 8 hours in the middle of nowhere, with someone calling every half an hour to tell him she is still looking for a rescue team to pick him up. After finally getting told he will be picked up at 11.45pm, we had to make the decision to call a rescue truck at my own cost.

This company is the most pathetic recovery company in the UK by far! Broke down 2 hours away from home in a Luton van, bear in mind I’ve been paying for business breakdown for the past 2 years with this company, I was REFUSED a recovery as they had ‘nobody to do a long distance recovery’ and FORCED into a hire contract for a Mercedes Citan. This is one of the smallest vans on the road that couldn’t even fit my work equipment in it so now my van is stuck 2 hours away with all of my tools in it and has been for 3 DAYS!! This company has cost my business thousands of pounds and have also forced me into a hire contract for a vehicle I didn’t want, and that is totally inadequate otherwise I would have basically been stranded!! Towing a vehicle 2 hours up the road is definitely not a ‘long distance tow’. I drive this route on a daily basis 6 days a week and so do thousands of other drivers & trucks too! This is no way to treat a business customer and keeping a vehicle for 3-5 days when a small business needs that vehicle repaired and back on the road is absolutely appalling conduct from a multi billion pound company. DO NOT USE THE RAC FOR YOUR BUSINESS RECOVERY AS THEY WILL NOT RECOVER YOUR VEHICLE AND THEY HAVE A LEGAL RIGHT TO OFFER YOU A LINK RECOVERY WHICH WAS NEVER DONE! They will basically steal your vehicle for a week, not tell you where it is, not call you back when you ask to speak to a manager and not give you any arrival time at all for your vehicle. Absolutely disgusting company treating small business in this way will never do you any favours.

The Engineer who came out was very pleasant and sorted the issue with ease. The only thing stopping me from putting a 5, was that the expected time kept changing, by hours not minutes
