When did Bright become a colour?

We have shopped at this store for many years and have always found their products keenly priced and good value. However the one time we have tried to return an item for refund they have refused.these were a set of garden lights,described on the label as bright white lights which QD state were referring to the colour and not the brightness??? Any excuse I guess

Amazing customer service two days in a row. The team went out of their way to help us with purchasing numerous plant pots, plants and compost. One young lady even pushed my trolley for me. Thank you

Family gift

This purchase was a gift for my aunt, it was delivered within a few days it was well packed and the family are very happy with the gift I was informed by the delivery company when they expected to arrive so I could let my aunt know all went well I would buy again from this seller.

Magic Magnetic Door Mesh Black Anti Bug…

Magic Magnetic Door Mesh Black Anti Bug Insect Fly Curtain Screen. Utter rubbish, may as well buy it and throw it in the bin on your way home, saves the stress… it’s useless. The magnet holders just fall apart and cannot be fixed back together. The magnets are not strong enough to hold. It doesn’t stay stuck to the little sticky holders. A slight breeze and it just falls apart. We are constantly told about a throw away culture but this is why, shops buying in and passing on garbage that is only fit for the dump.

Absalute discusting service

Purchased new gazebo cover from QD as I have done every 2 years since having it. new one arrived waited to fit it when it finally stopped raining found top vent cover had been made wrongly and would not fit on 4th fitting. have tried calling customer services 3 times and just kept getting phone cutting off after about 3 minutes tried there live chat system 5 times leaving email and phone nubers on both and have not had one reply or phone call from QD stores. Absalutly discusting customer service and rude that they hang up on you and do not call you back would not reccomend buying anything from them or buying from them myself.

Terrible returns policy. You may not get your money back as the each way postage may be more than the value of the goods.

Terrible returns policy. I spent £25 on an item which is not fit for purpose and £7.99 postage. They now refuse to pay return postage. I will no longer be shopping either online or in store and will take my custom elsewhere.

Unfortunately one of our plastic boxes…

Unfortunately one of our plastic boxes turned up broken at no fault of the company. I contacted them and with in 30 mins they had sorted the problem and a new one was on its way. 10/10 for the product and 10/10 for the customer service.

Superstar Service & an Ottoman of My Dreams

I’ve had the most wonderful service from QD Stores in Norwich (Anglian Square branch). I was looking for an Ottoman with storage and had seen a great one in there yesterday but didn’t buy it because I wanted one that was brand new and boxed, not one that had been tried and tested on the Shop Floor. Went home and after much Googling and endless searching, I realised that the one in QD was actually a great price and superior quality compared to the one’s available in other stores and online outlets. I called the Store, spoke to - Kerrie (Kerry) and Ed - they were Superstars. Helpful, professional, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient in checking whether my chosen item was still available. They went out of their way to double-check their Warehouse facility and get me a brand new, boxed Ottoman so I highly recommend them and QD Stores. There was another lady of Asian descent, but I didn’t get her name but she was also super helpful. The Store is an absolute treasure trove of so much - food, pet accessories etc., home wares, car accessories, stationery, toys, rugs, small electricals, furniture, garden items, clothes, storage containers and so much more. It’s lovely for a “mooch around” but you are bound to buy all manner of things as the prices are so good.

just purchased a bargain sofa

just purchased a bargain sofa at Hadleigh, Suffolk store, quite helpful staff on the floor and young lad helped me to transfer it to my car, but the manager likes to show off and is quite cocky to staff and customers which I have witnessed and experienced myself on a few occasions like once during covid after I had spent well over £500 pounds on garden stuff she barked at me in front of customers when another staff member let me through another door that wasn't being used due to covid restrictions. Good store but manager needs to wind her neck in, lose the attitude and stop gobbing off to her staff and customers like she's the best thing since sliced bread, when all she is at end of day is just an employee. Other than that, its a good store, just the manager needs to have her wings clipped and be put in her place by her boss thats all. I am not the only customer that has these concerns.

Poor treatment in Cafe Smile at QD

Went to the store event today and thought we would have a meal at the cafe smile there as we had heard the food was good. Got to the front of the queue at 5 minutes to 3pm and were told that there was no more hot food as the kitchen was closed. Checked on the menu which states that they stop serving good at 3pm. Not impressed do not know why we were turned away but will not bother going there in the future. In my view just shows poor customer service and put a damper on the rest of the visit to the shop.

Outstanding service Mary Ellen at Gorleston store

Huge thank you to Mary Ellen at Gorleston store - couldn’t have been more understanding and helpful when I needed to exchange a faulty kettle on behalf of my elderly mum. She went the extra mile to source the right code and other staff very friendly; ‘nothing too much trouble’ Thank you so much.

I purchased a £12.99 electric…

I purchased a £12.99 electric kettle.Used for 2 months.Then 2 days ago it blew the electrics. The electrician told me that the kettle was faulty and that I should return it for a refund I did this and after some exchanges of views I was given my refund. Very poor quality product and poor customer service.

Zero Communication

Ordered two items online on 11th October paying "Express" delivery (meaning one week!!) . Seven days later and no sign of delivery as items not even despatched. Reason being ----- not in stock. It took my investigation to ascertain this, as no contact from QD, when would they have decided to inform me? Their excuse, items are despatched directly from manufacturer so between them, no contact with customer. Order cancelled and won't be using this online company again. Items still being advertised!!!!
