I saw an offer on Facebook for air…

I saw an offer on Facebook for air coolers under the name Ozzi Cool selling 4 air coolers for £44. I thought it looked like a good deal So - I ordered 4 for £44. Once I had paid online and given my bank details, I then received an invoice for £175.96. I contacted my bank immediately and they say I have to wait for the order to go through before they can do anything. I am a pensioner and cannot afford all this. How can this company - Ozzi Home - conduct such scandalous business practice? I have emailed them demanding a refund immediately and to cancel my order. I will let you know what happens

Lucky to get one star

Lucky to get one star. I emailed them the day the hearing aids arrived as they said 90 day return policy. Won't let me return them at all then offered a miserly £15 Avoid like the plague. They do not answer emails or honour their own offers. I didn't even know I was dealing with a company called Ozzie home. June July 2025

Since i posted this report, Ozzie have refunded me the money and said I could keep the articles too when they arrive. They also said they would correct their order page to make it easier to just order one. Thank you Ozzie.

Thankyou for helping

Thankyou for sorting out my problem with the ordering. Was doing a purchase and offered a 50% discount. Didn't even take me to the checkout to check my order. It has taken 2 amounts out of my bank account which I cannot afford. They were both more than I was expecting to pay. Was stressed and upset but JD had constant contact with me and refunded me my money. You just need to get your ordering page sorted out so people can see what they have ordered before they click pay. Thankyou again.

Deceptive and misleading conduct - SCIENTIFICALLY IMPOSSIBLE CLAIMS

The claims this company makes about its products absolutely, unequivocally defy the laws of physics and it is therefore, without question, a total scam. Do not attempt to purchase anything from them, do not even contact them.

Order No. 437247 Having had an initial blip at the ordering stage, I have been very impressed with how the company have responded. They immediately replied to my email and have resolved the situation satisfactorily. If the product is as good as they say, I will happily make this a 5* review.

I was a fool to buy the Ozzi Cool!

I ordered this product and then like so many other buyers was unpleasantly surprised with the extended warranty and expedited shipping that was added to my order. The practices of this company are questionable and the way they prey on vulnerable people is shameful. I would like a complete refund on the cooler I purchased that leaks and has an 'instruction' card that has been very badly translated into English (from a supposedly Australian company!) I will be requesting a refund for my order number 426209.

I too have been scammed by this seller

I too was taken in by this challenging and aggressive push marketing transaction via FaceBook. I ordered one lot of 3 air cooling devices, but was charged twice (2 X 3) plus a VIP Club membership that I never asked for. The promotion was presented as an Australian invention, but I then find I’m charged in US dollars, not AU dollars (so my payments were significantly more than I expected). To make matters worse I only received one email from the company advising me I had made a purchase from them. PayPal made 3 transactions, but I never received confirmation emails about the other two financial transactions. Everything about this promotion was untrustworthy, and I immediately emailed them saying I wanted to cancel the orders and my money returned to Paypal. The only reply I had from them at that time was a friendly autobot email about mozzie killers that is totally unrelated to the purchase I made. I submitted a claim through PayPal who advised me to first deal with the seller to resolve the issue, although first communication with them about these purchases were unsuccessful. I then put in a further claim with PayPal asking them to recover my money. By putting in this claim, Paypal copied my claim to the company, who were then quick to refund the money for the item I had claimed against, and sent me an email saying the item had been refunded. I then advised them that I wanted all my funds transfers reversed (not just one), and 3 days later I saw the funds transfers back in my PayPal account. Interestingly because of foreign exchange rates that change day by day, I ended up receiving back $14:89 more than I had paid. :-) When I put in my claim to PayPal I also submitted this TrustPilot review at the same time (now edited), which I believe was the main action that culminated in a successful outcome to my claim. Outcome: this seller uses aggressive push marketing practices which are difficult to navigate and understand exactly what you are signing up for. Communication with my emails in the first instance was non-existent, which is probably to be expected by a seller receiving multiple orders to process, when using an automated mail handling system. If you are similiarly unhappy with your interaction with this FB posting, follow it through with your financial provider (in my case PayPal) and make sure you submit an honest TrustPilot review of the seller, which is a mechanism that sellers are keen to protect. All my funds have been received back into my account. Thank you for that. The seller said the products have already been sent and when they arrive I can keep them. I'll be interested to find exactly what does arrive, but if anything does I'll be passing it on to the St.Vincent dePaul society for their charitable benefit. In passing, I see this seller continues to promote similiar posts on FB, so be cautious when making any purchases from them, paying close attention to what transactions you are actually ordering. Frustrating experience

I initially tried to buy 1 Ozzi Cool Unit. By the end of checkout I have somehow ended up with 1 & 3 pack. Total of 4 units, plus warranty and expedited delivery. Tried straight away to cancel the extra 3 and was told I couldnt. Had to wait for delivery. Found my order in the garden, after a long wait for delivery, and after heavy rain. I was not notified immediately that it had been delivered, instead had to look at tracking, which was confusing because it said delivered, but also in transit. The courier, Aramex, has a notoriously bad reputation. At least when it comes to our deliveries. The package was soaking wet. Only 1 unit was dry. It had no instructions, so had to look on website for instructions. Filled 2 tanks with water and they both leaked. Have requested to return all units. Am awaiting for a reply, but am not happy at all with this purchase.
