Walsall - One Delivery
Walsall - one delivery - Awful experience. Took 2 hours to come. Tried to contact the number 8 times to find out if the food was actually going to be delivered. Ordered £35 worth of McDonald’s. When I contacted after a couple of days manager was so rude said I wouldn’t get a refund. Was promised a call back, no call back. I tried to contact next day was told that I would get a call back which never happened so I rang again the following day and was told I will get £3.50 off my next order - bearing in mind I will Never use this company again. Then I was told they will refund me £3.50. The manager was rude arrogant and called me darling which is not professional at all. For food to take 2 hours you should be notified to see if you still want to place the order. My order number was 9436973, which was placed on 1/10/17 at 13:30. So that’s pretty much what I was offered before by having £3.50 refunded where as I spent £35.75. And on the email once order placed it states - If anything above looks incorrect, please contact your local franchise manager Customer Services, on 07840010665 And I rang the number so many times to ask where the order was and there was no answer. Regardless of the order being delivered it shouldn’t have taken 2 hours. 10% off on my next order is no good as I won’t be using the service in Walsall as I have now moved to Leeds. Okay that fair enough having free delivery and 10% off in Leeds. Because I have actually Used the service here and not had any problem like I have with Walsall. What do I need to put in the notes to use this because if I pay by card it takes the whole payment and how will the Leeds franchise know this? Would it have to be a cash payment. And with the £3.50 refund for delivery from my order placed in Walsall I don’t really think it that’s acceptable considering how much money I spent on food for a group of people and 2 hours later when it arrived no one was left to eat it. So it was a waste of food and money on my part. 1 hour timescale is understandable but I’m sorry no 2 hours. And the fact there’s a contact number which I rang again and again to chase the order and to cancel the customer service is appalling and no one answered the call not even retuned my call. That would be great. I live in Middleton Leeds LS10, think there are only 3/4 restaurants that deliver there so if I could go with McDonald’s voucher please. How will I receive this?
