Absolutely horrendous !!!

Absolutely horrendous !!!! Took my money, never brought my food and no stupid number to call to get my refund I’m fuming !!! What a stupid fricken service if you can’t run it properly don’t fricken run it at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

POSTING AGAIN AS NO RESPONSE FROM ONE…

POSTING AGAIN AS NO RESPONSE FROM ONE DELIVERY DESPITE THEM REPLYING TO OTHER COMPLAINTS VIA THIS SITE. Absolute rubbish!! Ordered at 5.15pm quoted 60 minute delivery time. Paid £3.50 delivery and an excess charge on items ordered on my credit card. Over an hour went by with no communication from the company. No telephone number to call so had to email to chase order?! Was told that the driver was ordering my food at 6.25pm (the BK is only 10 minutes up the road from my house - due to recovering from surgery not able to get out to get myself) Got to 6.35pm and asked them to call me. No response, so emailed again stating that if not delivered by 6.40pm to provide a refund and cancel the order and I was told to be patient?! I then asked them to call me to discuss a refund and cancellation including a formal complaint. The manager refused to do that also. At 7pm the driver knocked my door!!! Nearly 2 hours after I ordered. Food was of course cold and I ordered diet coke but got full sugar! I am really upset with the terrible customer service and that I have been charged full price for a late, cold and incorrect order that I had asked for him to cancel and issue a refund a few times after they failed to deliver within to quoted time frame. When I stated that I wanted to discuss my complaint and a refund the manager still refused to speak to me and even sent me sarcastic emails! I have ended up having to go through a dispute with my credit card company. The customer care is lacking and I would caution anyone against ordering from these rip off merchants. I will certainly not be letting this slide and ensuring that the public are aware of the scam this franchise has going on. No way to complain? No phone number? What kind of crap set up is this?

Is this franchise a joke?

This is a review for Gateshead Metrocentre One Delivery. I’ve ordered twice, both orders were delivered on time. However the other 90% of attempted orders result in a a message “we’re closed right now”. I’ve see reasons scope from being on holiday, illness and restaurants being closed (when they aren’t). This franchise is doomed to failure. Vet your franchises, the make an effort to ensure they maintain at least an adequate level of service. This franchise area is a joke. I assume you take some commission, a delivery serivice that works 10% of peak hours (that’s a generous estimate, as I’ve i my tried to order circa 20 times).....no more needs to be said. Good luck 😂

Awesome service x

Although they, like every business sometimes make mistakes they are quick to resolve and even refund, and 9 times out of 10 their delivery is perfect and their drivers are always kind and polite, the one time it was late they rang to appologise. I couldn’t fault them at all. I would and do 100% recommend

Ridiculous service - dissapointment rectified.

Ridiculous service. Ordered at 8pm for delivery yet at 10.20 foods still not here yet the fast food resturant we ordered from has now shut. Contact number on the confirmation email isn't even valid so there's literally no way of contacting them. This is our second time using their service and both times its been late and dissapointing. Won't ever use again! After writing this review I was contacted by a one delivery manager (I think that was his role) who was very apologetic, tried his best to find out what had happened with my order and why i was not contacted. He also offered a full refund and gave me a good will gesture of £30 as an apology. Refund is still yet to be issued but I have no doubts it will be. I did however use my goodwill today and got perfect service, food delivered within half hour!

Delivered wrong food wouldn’t refund. Avoid.

Ordered food from burgerking but when it arrived the burger was completely different from what I had ordered and had ingredients on it I’m allergic to so I couldn’t eat it! After looking on the Burger King website I could see that what I had ordered from the one delivery site was no longer being sold as it was seasonal. They had my number, they could have called me to ask if I wanted something different rather than just choosing something random! I have now sent three emails to complain and ask for a refund to which they have replied to none! They must have read them though as the burger I ordered has now finally been removed from their menu. The menus should be kept up to date and if I had known what I wanted it wasn’t available I would have picked something else. As it was I have had to pay for a meal I threw in the bin. There is no way to call them, there is no customer service. It’s atrocious. Do not use them.

Absolutely shocking 😡

Ordered McDonald’s for my 4 kids as a treat and it’s about a 20 min drive during rush hour from my house but the food took 1 hour 10mins. The food came and it was stone cold, the whole lot. I called to be told that 1 fruit bag made all the meals cold (all burgers even the centre cold). I ask for more food to be told he would call the driver and call me back in 5 mins. Waited 15 mins and rang back, for the man to ask was I the lady in dyce I said yes and he hung up, he did it twice then I rang from unknown and someone different answered and told me I’d have to wait another hour for replacement food. Disgusting customer service 😡😡😡

Honestly if I could rate minus I would

Honestly if I could rate minus I would. Order took over 1.5 hours to arrive 20 box of nuggets missing and a drink contacted via Facebook to arrange refund of missing items saw my message didn’t reply and are now ignoring them! Stay away use just eat or Deliveroo.

Not enough staff for cover high demand times

The last two times I have ordered here I have had over an hour and half wait for my food and was cold, I texted the manager to see we’re my food ones on the first time they were very rude and snap my but then did say sorry for being snappy, then I ordered again a few weeks later this time I waited an hour and 10 mins before texting the manger to see we’re my food was, I put order in at 18:57 at 20:07 I text, I waited until 20:17 before I texted again as no reponce to last mess just to be told and i quote, “Yes order should be yhere any time ” I replied with this reponce “Ok that's fine but do you have a time please as it's already been an hour and 20 mins and I'm worried my food will be cold as I know that it's cold out side and you do not have heat bags as the last person got it from his backpack. Thank you “ the manger then rung me and was very sorry it and said they rush hour puts them behind, all staff are friendly but maybe they need to get more stuff in to allow for the orders I finally got my food at 20:35 and sadly to say was cold maybe one delivery need to supply heat bags to keep food hot

I’ve tried my local one a few times, but the most recent order was pretty poor. 2 hours waiting, chasing updates, and was delivered to wrong address! Pretty cold on arrival

Absolutely appalling

Absolutely appalling. Avoid or it may cost you money! I ordered three gluten free items and when they arrived were told only one item was gluten free. I explained I had a medical condition and the food was therefore no use to me as a whole meal. The delivery driver told me I would get a refund. Nothing happened and when I queried it I had the rudest customer service experience I have ever encountered. I was told that as I’d got a digit wrong on my phone number they couldn’t contact me (even though they had my email address) and therefore that meant I could not get a refund for the whole order but just the two items that were wrong (despite me returning the whole order!!). The attitude to customers is disgraceful and they should be ashamed. In my mind hey have stolen money from me and have refused flatly to refund me for the whole order. I am reporting to Trading Standards. Absolutely diabolical Added note - interesting how the franchise owner Anthony Goodwin has given HIMSELF a 5 star review following mine above. Another reason you should not trust this company!!! Where is this £15 voucher, I’ve not had it??? I hope it’s not a One Delivery voucher as I would never use the company again and you know that l, so it’s a false gesture! Still no voucher....all lies!
