So this is a tale of two halves.
The sale process was absolutely rubbish, they quoted me for the car, I went ahead ordered the car and they went very quiet. I kept chasing and was eventually told there was a 12 month delay and they in fact did not have a contract in place to purchase the car, so I could cancel or wait. I said why quote me and accept an order then? to which I never got a good answer. I Waited a few months and then they said they could get the car.
Great I thought, whereupon they told me then that the price had gone up by around £50 a month! They would not shift on that whatsoever, and really again never really explained or even acknowledged how poor that was, given I had already ordered a car at the lower price. The issue was Octopus's not mine, but I was the one picking up the increased monthly charge.
Despite what I thought was just really poor, poor service, I went ahead...
After that it was all very good, the car got delivered efficiently in December with good communication from the operations department of Octopus, no complaint there at all and a big thank you to Sam and co who have been excellent.
The process originally start in May 24 and as I said it's a tale of two halves, Octopus sales were shockingly bad and Operations were excellent!
