I have just received my new EV which I ordered through Octopus Electric Vehicles after a 3-4 month wait. The vehicle was easy to order, and I had a specific contact to communicate with, Ali, throughout the process who was very helpful and responsive. He was able to help with all my queries and changes, and kept me informed of the status of the car throughout. The installer who came to fit the charger was awesome too. I am yet to see how the aftersales goes but 5* so far.

I recently received my EV, and while the car itself is fantastic, the delivery process left much to be desired. Communication with the delivery agent was poor, often coming at very short notice and requiring me to constantly monitor my email. This lack of timely communication led to a nearly two-week delay in receiving my car, which was attributed to my "slow" response to an email. Additionally, I was initially informed that the car allocated to me was incorrect, and I was asked to wait even longer. After some back-and-forth with the delivery agent, the car was finally delivered as promised. To improve the experience, I strongly suggest better communication with clients. A phone call would be much more effective and appreciated.

Communication was excellent, many thanks to Valentina for speedy responses to my questions, and following up to ensure the process of delivery had gone smoothly. Delighted with the car and very happy with the whole experience.
Once you get your EV they do not care at all about you as a customer. I took my car for its first service which they booked 25 miles from my home. I needed a full set of tyres which the garage wanted me to pay for. I tried to contact Octopus for approval but got no response so had to drive home with no work done on my car. 3 days later they emailed me to say we don’t deal with tyres , call this 0800 number which is Kwik fit with no details of how these will be paid for etc. Also Kwik fit are 1 mile away from me do really counter productive to send me 25 miles away to not be able to get any work done!
Really great communication from Octopus and fantastic service. The range of cars to choose from was quite extensive too.

Really smooth experience. Operations team were particularly good, making sure everything was understood and delivery was smooth. Just waiting for my charger to be installed, which was tricky to get in touch with the right people. But managed to fit it in. I would say be patient there is a lot of moving parts to get the service spot on. Daniel was fantastic, answering questions really fast and quickly added my wife’s Tesla account, when I couldn’t!
The sales support initially from Charlie was great and helped aid our decision on a model. The smooth transition into processing the order and arranging delivery with Matilda was great. Even with it being the week before Christmas the process kept moving along and I was happy to receive delivery before the New Year.
My experience was excellent. Clear and straightforward from start to finish. I was kept up-to-date throughout the process and could easily contact them directly whenever needed. Highly recommend!
