Fast and efficient, decision made in no time

I was pre-approved for a loan, completed an application and was informed that my application was approved, great! But then I got an email today, 4 days after the initial email saying my loan was approved, saying that actually they were unable to approve the loan and therefore my application was cancelled. I had been pre-approved by other lenders but now their hard search on my profile by Oakbrook has led to my credit rating being affected and therefore no further pre-approvals, so now I'm up a certain creek without so much as a paddle. I'm so disappointed and disgusted with this company.

Constantly sending emails to apply for a loans, I had 1 paid off early last year, when you waste time applying comes back sorry not eligible, have unscribed twice yet you still send email STOP SENDING EMAILS WASTING PEOPLES TIME

I eventually managed to get a consolidation loan from Oakbrook. However, it was far from a straightforward process. Issues with the email links they sent meant that I had to phone several times to find out what was happening. Staff were less than helpful on the phone and didn't seem to know what was happening with my application. One member of staff told me just to reapply as nothing had come through to them. When I questioned the possibility that a hard search had already been done, she told me that it definitely hadn't. The next day, a hard search appeared on my file. Very vague and stressful application process, but when it was all sorted, the money was paid out very quickly. I just hope I don't have any further issues and have to phone them.
