Trying to get an online order reissued due to UPS damaging the box which jars of paint inside erupted damaging everything in the box. The agent had the audacity to request more photos when my original photos showing the severity of the damage was more than enough yet wanted my to dig through wet paint mess to show more damage than what I showed the first time. Why make a simple request to reissue my order again so much more difficult for me? Does not make sense! Issue my order all over again and give me a prepaid return shipping label to make this right, why make me dance through hoops for something so simple to fix? This is why I really like supporting local businesses because of shit like this!

I recently shopped at the Michaels Store in Livonia, MI. I asked about a senior discount and they could not tell me what the age was and would not give me the discount. This was after asking three people, one of which was the manager. Later I googled it which yes, I probably should have done in the store. But it is 55 and up for a 10% discount. There are certain items that are not eligible for any discount. But I was very disappointed in the manner they handled this situation. I do not live close to this location otherwise I would go back to talk to the manager.
Had a pleasant experience both on the phone and in person at Michaels Craft store on Vega Blvd in Mississauga ontario, Canada. Called to check re: availability of an item in the store and also whether a discount coupon seen on- line would qualify. Spoke with two employees--- Julie-Ann and Hunter who located the item and assured me the discount would be applied. They were both very polite and helpful--- both on the phone and when i arrived at the store! Smooth transaction all the way and i can't thank them enough! Sharon Michener --- Mississauga
Online: I placed an order online for some items on October 16 but because there were conflicting messages regarding whether payment went through and then confirmations with different amounts, I cancelled by phone. I placed another pick up at store order. The first charge on my credit card was never reversed two weeks later. I contacted them multiple times and assured it was being cancelled. The last person who assured me of this just sent shipping labels, although I never received the order, or any shipping information! The last interaction said that I would be refunded when the order was returned. Many times CS was unavailable due to technical issues. I’ve contacted my bank and now can’t recommend Michael’s’ online ordering system.
Horrible employee and don’t bother calling the store cause they won’t pick up anyway and their return policy means nothing. won’t set foot back in the store
Snotty young people working at the register...all on their cell phones. I couldn't get my 30% off one item because my cell phone was in the car. I had to do it on my phone. There is nothing that I have to have from Michael's. This is the last time that I cross that threshold.
Wow, I had a huge problem. Multiply charges on my bank account via PayPal but Michaels handled it all swiftly and with many apologies. Thank you customer service peeps!
I seen a green t-shirt online dark green ordered it picture and description were two different things sure didn't even look like the color in the picture it was 100% lighter try to send them a message they did not respond be careful ordering online you will not get what the ad shows l would add a picture of AD Plus what I received but they have no place to show it very disappointed
The Westport store is a frequent stop for me whenever I’m in town. There’s always something I can get for arts&crafts projects with my grandkids. It’s a good place to pick up last minute birthday gifts and since brick/mortar stores are disappearing, one of the only places I can try out and actually see paint colors and textures, markers etc. Only complaint is not enough staff.
Went in to buy some paint because my girlfriend is disabled and blind my first time in sep 25 around 1pm it was a Craft smart Acrylic paint walk to the front Counter a white young lady said can I help you . Ask her is this paint Black and can you use it on wood She took it and look at it and said yes it's black and yes on wood is fine I am a older person so my eye are not the greatest so I took her word for it ... Now too make a long story short when I got home the paint was gray ... Not black please hire people that have experience and know about the job and labels ty
Michaels in Webster Texas has incorrect inventory, but offers online purchasing for pick up. We drove for 30 minutes to be turned away with an excuse that they never keep this in stock. FIX THE INVENTORY THEN. We then drove to the Market Square Michaels in Sugarland, Texas and had a great experience with a helpful employee. I believe the manager of the Sugarland store understands that they are there to sell products. Wish the Webster location could figure out why they are open.

Trixie at the Sunridge Calgary store was more than amazing. She went above and beyond in her customer service. The sales were fabulous as well but her service made it top notch.
You wanna know what made my experience great at this fantastic Michael’s? Well I’ll tell you. It was the amazing bathrooms. I’ve never pooped so wonderfully. Barely anyone came in the bathrooms so there was no distractions. No sensors on the toilet so I flushed whenever I pleased. Also no sensor on the sink so I could choose the temperature in my water. The soap was amazing and smelled delicious. And lastly, there was a paper towel dispenser instead of the loud hand dryer. Everything I was looking for in a bathroom. Beautiful. Job well done.
The customer service inexperienced at the Michaels store in Oshawa was disappointing. The employee I spoke to would not allow me to use a piece of tape so that I could drop off my Purolator shipment at this drop off location. I am thankful a nearby convenience store was more than willing to assist me.

I ordered a crucifix which I was so excited to get and paid a fair bit for (55 USA which converts to close to $90 in my currency. What I got didn't even look close to the image they had on website and looked worth about $3. Seller offered me 5% return, i paid extra to have items returned had confirmation it was returned seller miracously couldn't find it and washed their hands from taking any responsibility. I would be weary ordering from these guys.
The reason for the poor rating is due to the lack of customer service. The company has tied the employees hands from being able to assist the consumer. I asked while attempting to shop if my email address could be corrected but was told to go online. In addition I asked to have a specific item ordered but once again was told to go online. Customers are being used by the company to do what was formerly the employees job. We do the work, pay more for less & have know customer service what so ever. Are you going to start compensating the consumer??? Very bad business Michael's! Disappointed & will not be returning & will encourage everyone I know to shop elsewhere. Guessing your company will be the next brick & motor to shutter the doors! Classic example of CRAPITALISM!!;
