I’m another almost victim of this unethical business. Scammed of the call out fee for a quote for a basic AC service ( 3 units) of $4200!!!! Just got an alternative quote from a qualified technician recommended by a friend for $300. Love their promo of no additional fee for out of hours work, when they charge 14 times an ethical business. (the alt quote guy also works 7day a week and offered to come out on a Sunday). Don’t waste your money on these scammers. Should have done more research! Read positive reviews with caution: they are probably plants from the company itself.

after a terrible experience using another plumbing company I was a bit hesitant to hire Metropolitan, however they went beyond my expectations. the plumber who arrived was very friendly and explained the issue I had in really easy words. communication throughout the whole repair was great and the place was left clean. Metropolitan was simple to reach and work with. They were transparent about pricing and I was given various options. The plumber who attended was very professional and installed my new hot water system quickly and effectively. Even my bathroom was left cleaner than when he arrived. They will be utilised again in the near future.

I would like to give negative 10 stars. Please don't waste your $140 call out fee and don't sign anything! Quoted $1249 to fix a small aircon in small bedroom. But wait, there's more! in the fine writing said that if their service didn't fix it then we'd need to pay for the parts and extra service on top of that! (apparently the sky is the limit for this company) Their quote was actually the same price to replace and install a whole new aircon! I would like to add that I stand by my review. Having read all the other reviews, and how they take advantage of vulnerable people. I also read the positive reviews and whilst some appear positive, they are the plumbing ones and maybe they are in a certain location? We are in Perth and all the aircon reviews are the same as ours! We ended up phoning another company. The guy came over within a week, spent 2 1/2 hours and fixed it for $350.

They just quoted us $12039 to replace an existing air conditioner in our apartment. That doesn't even include the cost of the air conditioner! It's just for installation! Why hasn't the ACCC put these guys out of business yet? Complete waste of time and $140. Update: a different company ended up installing the same air conditioner for $700.

We have been customers of Metropolitan Plumbing for a few years now and they have taken great care of us every time. Unlike many contractors, they're on time an actually communicate. HIGHLY recommend and will be using them again for our plumbing needs !

My hot water pressure was getting low and these guys found a small leak which a previous company hadn't found. Water is back to normal. Amazing experience
