I ordered a MacKinnon watch for my partner’s birthday in his family’s tartan. The band is sturdy, and the colors are perfect.

MacKinnon Watches truly delivered a beautifully polished and elegant timepiece for my wife as a wedding anniversary gift, and it was warmly received here at our home in Doha, Qatar. I had intentionally searched for a Scottish watchmaker, wanting a gift with heritage and meaning, and I’m delighted to have found them. The watch is absolutely stunning, and with its Royal Stewart tartan strap, it serves as a lovely reminder of our Scottish roots. I chose the larger watch face with a white background and rose-pink design, which looks amazing on my wife’s petite wrist. We also had the back engraved with our names, wedding date, and even had our wedding location in Las Vegas embossed on the rear of the strap. The possibility to have all these personal touches made it all the more special. Thank you for everything—this gift has been perfect, and I’m certain I’ll be placing my own order very soon.

Great watch, really sleek and simple design that I love. Being able to pick out my own tartan was a fantastic experience, really makes it feel like it's yours. If I had to pick a draw back it would be that it takes a while to make, on the other hand it is custom so what can you expect! All around a great experience.
