the watch was beautiful and my dad loved it. I would definitely recommend. I also made a mistake on my order and they managed to change it for me. They were so friendly and helpful.

The ordering process was smooth and the time to delivery was acceptable given this item was hand-made by weavers. The appearance of the watch is great however, it was much larger than I anticipated. I will have to have another hole, or two, to make it fit my wrist. My only con is that I wish that this watch came in a lady's size. I may give it to my grandson.

A bit disappointed that the red stripe in the Elliot tartin is orange.

MacKinnon Watches is a family run business and being honest they are not a Patek Philipe. You wear a Patek Philippe to display the watch’s heritage. But you wear a MacKinnon Watch to display your family heritage. The watches are quartz movements and reliable time pieces. The face design is clean and elegant, not distracting from their custom made wrist bands but supporting their look and style. The company’s customer service is outstanding! We had a large order for a wedding that included making tartan wrist bands for numerous family/clan, county/district, and military tartans. This included a personal family tartan that they were able to get a fabric mill to reproduce. All watches were engraved, and all wrist bands had leather backing that were embossed as well. The MacKinnon Watch family’s customer service is impeccable.

Chatted with company before I ordered as this was for a special present that I wanted to get spot on. They were very friendly and helpful. Item came within the 3 - 5 weeks and was beautifully presented.

I ordered a watch for my husband for our 20-year wedding anniversary. When it came, firstly it was beautifully gift-wrapped, and the watch was just stunning. The Gordon Dress Tartan leather backed band set the face off just lovely, and I loved how our wedding date was stamped on the inside. Plus, the engraving on the back was the icing on the cake. It was everything I'd hoped it would be. My husband absolutely loved it. It also arrived just in time for our special day, which I was really happy about. My sister and I had planned to give the watch we ordered (Clan Irvine) to our Dad at Christmas, but we were all feeling down, so opened it early, and Dad (age 92) was thrilled with it! Many years ago he was very active in the St. Andrews Society of Washington DC, and he and my sister took the train up to see Drum Castle when we lived in England in the early ‘80s. Your beautiful watchband, so carefully made, is a lovely reminder of these days past. He immediately swaped his old watch for yours, and has been wearing in everyday! Thank you so much!

I have actually already submitted a comprehensive narrative of my experience of MacKinnon Watches, and wish to reiterate that they provided a fantastic service and a beautiful product, very professional from concept to shipping.

This got held up in customs for 2 weeks due to lack of sufficient content and valuation information. I had to supply extra documentation to customs for them to release the package. This made the expedited processing and shipping I paid for pointless. The watch itself is nice enough, but it arrived too late to be given as a gift, as intended.

My sister and I were in Scotland two years ago and she fell in love with the Highlands and Edinburgh. What better was to celebrate her 73rd birthday than by giving her a reminder of the two places she loves. I have one of your watches also and thought this was the perfect gift with its Edinburgh Plaid wristband.

I live in San Diego, CA and the delivery time was very reasonable as was the total price of the watch and shipping. And of course it’s a beautiful watch that’s fairly unique!
