Happened 5th time in 2 years, No network and “threshold Limit reached”

Reference number 107557100 I had a family plan,removed a number for one month and 18th and 19th july tried to recharge it started giving error “threshold limit reached “ then on 20th July I added that number to same family again , received SMS about recharge but after that no network bars and sometimes SOS

Lyca failed to send me the QR code that…

Lyca failed to send me the QR code that I need to set up the eSIM on my phone. Nevertheless they claim the "plan activation" was successful. It was not successful for me. I have not received a usable eSIM.

SIM SWAP I ordered an ESIM little did I know I have to have a physical SIM

UPDATE 7/18/2025: after writing the previous review Lyca Mobile customer service did contact me. They offered me a refund for eSIM and informed me that I would have to purchase a physical SIM. They told me what I needed to do for a full refund. I did exactly as they asked and once again I have not heard anything. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE I DO NOT RECOMMEND!! I decided to buy the esim card for like $12.86 which includes unlimited talk, text and data. I assumed the esim would work in my phone but it is not compatible. Shame on me for not checking first. This does not excuse Lyca customer service from blowing me off completely. I have called the number several times both times I finally got through I was hung up on. LIA the chat bot can't help me so it pushes me through to wait on agent who never answers. Oh and it states I can email them too only to be ignored once again. So I sit here day #4 with no solution. Not even an almost solution. I guess what I'm saying is their customer service sucks and they are making me feel like I'm not even a customer of theirs.

It was great experience with OMAR @ Morocco.

It was great experience with OMAR @ Morocco as he resolved my problem for which I have had for a while. My old wireless carrier HELLO Mobile went bust and my number was not working. But OMAR walked me through and was able to port/transfer my number to Lyca regardless.

It was great experience with NIZAR as he resolved my problem for which I was trying to solve it and he did it. For long time I was asking to renew my plan from the credit balance at my account even though every time I was asked for credit, debit card and google to pay but Nizar solved my problem. Thanks a lot

Such a horrible company

Such a horrible company. I signed up to them and had service for one day and when I ported over my number I lost connection to their network. Despite contacting technical service weeks before Christmas - And is now January 8 I still do not have service. If you google this Company, you will see that they’re laying off hundreds of staff are about 20 million in the red. You can understand why Customer service is so bad. Everything is done by email and it takes days if not weeks to get a response but sometimes not. Boiler plate responses. As a consumer advocate, I would recommend that no one sign up to this company at all when this company goes bankrupt. You may lose your number or together. I won’t be able to port out.

The worst customer service ever

The worst customer service ever. The agent asked me more than 20 questions, I have answered all the questions. It took me more 25 minutes for Q&A session, it was simply an interrogation. Then the agent decided to not to share with me the my PIN number. I have been forced to leave Lyca cuz of their poor customer service 😕
