The job was done properly but I thought the electrician should have come the the light to install instead of going away to get it .I had told him I needed a replacement sensor light before he came so why did he not bring one with him?

The electrician came on time and carried out the work needed. I would recommend him to any neighbours or friends.

So happy and impressed with the electricians who installed our new hotplates, being an older home this had some difficulties, a few of which were sorted before commencement by great communication with the owners of the business. The work was done with a minimum of fuss (and mess) and we were treated with respect at all times. Definitely a 10 out of 10 experience.

After requesting a service from Hornsby Electric to replace a single outdoor light with another one I provided, I was never provided with a quote for the job. My job was booked and I assumed that I would be charged standard market rate. I was eventually charged $350 for a job that took exactly 10 minutes. Had I been made aware of the estimated cost, I would have used another electrician... This is totally on me: I now know I absolutely need to ask for a quote, even for the simplest possible jobs.

We had a problem with the power supply to our external air conditioning unit situated on a pedestal on the concrete roof slab above our apartment. Due to waterproofing issues a replacement had to be rerouted without breaching the concrete slab. Hornsby Electric came up with an excellent solution that got our air conditioner up and running again. We are delighted with the result & can highly recommend them for electrical jobs that may resolve going above & beyond.

When scheduled electrician got held up on a difficult job Hornsby Electric sent a replacement quickly. The work was carried out very efficiently.
