Visited Brighton Lewes Road Halfords on Thursday 5th June. Selected correct wipers back and front for my car and asked for fitting. Served by Julian who was extremely helpful, friendly and super efficient. Fantastic service all round. Thank you Julian 😊
I have to give 1star because i can't leave a review with nothing. Firstly Halfords used to be a. decent company which was a go to 1st when i ever needed anything for my car or motorbike, sad to say i will now be going elsewhere in future. This morning i decided to buy a small petrol filter for my motorbike, nothing special, just a cheap little filter like the many on sale at any Normal car parts shop. So i just wanted to check the Halfords website to see what they had, remember it's just a off the peg filter, and i don't want to add a vehicle reg for the part, i just want to look at the damn filters. Well if you want to just browse the website for spare parts, then you best, like me, just go elsewhere, because you simply can't get on the website, unless you give your vehicle details 1st, and should you type in those details then you can only get parts for that vehicle. REMEMBER I ONLY WANT AN OFF THE PEG FILTER. Yes of course i can jump into the car, fight through the Saturday traffic, just to find that Halfords are out of stock on little filters!
Bought Bosch rear wiper for 2018 seat leon st according to Halfords website and in store data. AM33H Item does not fit, incorrect fitting. Other sites show the A331H which has the correct type of fitting.
Visited Halfords at "the greyhound estate" Chester yesterday to purchase a 'phone holder'. I saw a few and selected one for £16. When I tried it in my car it wasn't suitable. I took it back, there was no problem, they were very nice and refunded my money immediately. Good service 👍
Annoying visit to store today in November I bought a 3 pin plug to type 2 EV charger plug for my Audi hybrid the charger stopped working and it cost me £137 took it to store didn't have any hassle in store just the I can't find one in store refund to a gift card I asked for a cash refund so I could go to Screwfix across the road and buy the same charger but they refused. The same charger is in stock in the same store and it now costs £43 more than it did 7 months ago I'm pretty annoyed they didn't look properly for it and the other guy couldn't be arsed
I called in my local branch for a price for two new car tyres. I was ignored as I walked in by a member of staff typing on a laptop, after about two minutes I told him I would leave it, only then did he come to life and talked to me. There was no stock for my car tyre size so he told me to go to another supplier. He did not offer to get tyres in. Very surprised by this poor service as people in the shop are very helpful. Oh well, that's another customer lost.
Do not use this company They take money for products they do not have, then when you call to complain they just keep your money for days with no indication of weather your get the money back. They are rude and put the phone down I can’t wait for the retailer to go bust awful company with awful customer service

I’m giving two stars only because the basket I ordered actually arrived. The rest of the experience has been incredibly frustrating. I ordered a bike as a birthday gift for my mum, carefully timing the delivery. The bike never arrived, and I received no update or explanation. I had to contact Halfords myself, was promised a call back—which never happened—and now I’m stuck chasing it all over again. Customer support is practically non-existent, and I still have no idea where the bike is. Definitely expected better from a company like this
Jade at the Beverley store was excellent. She patiently explained the pros and cons of a variety of car seats for two new grandparents who last looked at these products many years ago. Customer service at its best.
Don’t do it!!! Booked an MOT and Full Service bundle online for £305 only to be charged £424 at the site. Got a lot of sympathy with those working on site as when I called the online team, they had no idea what was going on. Absolute omnishambles!
Booked in to have dashcam done. There was an issue with the fitting date and it had to be changed due to sickness, however Damien went above and beyond to put it right and we were more than happy.
The own brand car battery I bought from Halfords has two and a half years left from its warranty but it has given me problems since it was only a year old. The retailer refuses to exchange or refund my money. The reason given: I am not using my car enough, Yet they have an environmental strategy which is committed to net Zero and tackling climate change.
My wife and I went to the Halfords store in Milton Keynes to buy a replacement satnav. After some advice, we decided on the model. It was not in stock, so had to be ordered - all good so far. At the checkout Sam asked for my email address and looked me up. He confirmed that he could see that I was a member of the Motoring Club and that I would get a discount (I was expecting £5). He then gave me a can of aircon cleaner and said that was a free gift, due to my Motoring Club membership. The total bill was only £2 less than the cost of the satnav and, when I queried this, Sam said that was because I was a member of the free Motoring Club, not the paid-for version. On getting home and looking at the receipt, I found that I had, indeed, been given a £5 discount on the satnav, but had then been charged £3 for the aircon cleaner, which I had not asked for and did not need. I went back to the store the next day, handed back the aircon cleaner spray and cancelled the order for the satnav. The person who served me apologised and processed the refund without any argument. I have since ordered the same model of satnav from another company (and it is £26 cheaper!)
I went to halfords tallaght on Sunday the 01june 2025 as I was looking for a bike for my 11year old daughter.a guy called Ray was very helpful he took out the bike and sized it for my daughter.couldn't have been more helpful explained everything about the bike thanks for your help Ray 👍
I would rather give them a zero star since they dnt deserve any!!! Last mouth I bought a bike for my little one which was an online order. As soon as it came to my house I’ve noticed the size is not as expected and decided to return on the Chelmsford store on the same day. So took the bike and the lady in the store said they can’t see the order took the bike to our next floor maybe they can’t help you for your return!!! Which they couldn’t looking very confused they then asked me to try to solve the problem online. After waiting for the online customer services they came up with a solution that it’s best I dnt receive the order from delivery man!!! At the end the parcel is been sent back and now I’ve been waiting for a refund for 15days and they still advice me to wait!!!
Guiseley store always has dreadful stock levels. I decided to do click and collect, earliest availability is 11 days time, but it's in stock in the Bradford store. Absolute nonsense. Shop elsewhere.
Ripped me off their 200% brighter headlight bulbs both failed within 6 months they refused refund don't trust them don't use them will avoid using them ever again
What another nightmare experience. Bought 4 items online, Halfords insisted that 3 will be delivered to my home and the 4th I had to collect instore. The one instore was broken, they couldn't reorder a replacement and couldn't give me a refund. I give up with you Halfords, twice I rang you, and ur own people didn't know how to fix it. Whats the point in buy ing from you ?
